Wanna speak about Milan again ??? Ah ah ah !!!
Hey ! I'm reading the opinion of Candy Dulfer about this tour with Prince, take a look: "For me special nights were Paris, London, Milan and the aftershows in Kopenhagen and Manchester." (www.candydulfer.nl) Well, she is not Prince, but her words are important, aren't they ? I dunno about other evenues, but I really had a lot of fun. What about you ??? A big kiss to everyone in this community that looks like to Candy Dulfer. Simo www.palatium-italy.it simon(e)

Too bad there was no after show in Manchester! So it must be in her dreams? The whole tour has rocked since March; (nice that she is there) but it would have still rocked without her. SIGNAL

From her site:
November 14th 2002 Dear fans, How is everybody? In case some people think I've vanished from the face of the earth since I haven't been on the site for a while, here's a report of what I've been up to the last months. I'm exhausted but so happy since I've just finished one of the most exciting tours of my life: playing with Prince! It's hard to describe what fun we had and what it means to me to be standing on the Ahoy stage (in Rotterdam, Holland) with Prince there, Sheila E. on my left, Maceo Parker and Greg Boyer on the right and the whole incredible NPG; Rhonda, Greg, Renato, John, on some gigs the incredible Eric Leeds, and Prince's amazing crew. I'll try though. As a fourteen-year-old I went to see Sheila E. in concert in Paradiso in Amsterdam, and when the concert was over I felt I had seen my future. If I could just achieve 10 percent of the talent and quality that this lady possessed, I would be so happy. Finally a woman in music who could play with the 'big guys'. Also the idea of this whole family of talented people, Sheila, Prince, The Time, Jill Jones, The Family etc. guiding and inspiring each other and creating that wonderful new music was so inspiring! Never in my life would I have thought that I would one day actually meet those people and even get to play with them!!! For me, Ahoy was the coming together of everything I've always wanted in my life: playing extremely good music with some of the most amazing people in the world in front of thousands of loving people from my own country, with my family and friends right there and then playing my ass off. Wowww! I'm still high from the love and good music I experienced there. Not to say we didn't have fun on the other dates in Europe, hello!!! For me special nights were Paris, London, Milan and the aftershows in Kopenhagen and Manchester. A day with Prince on tour often consists of a 2-hour soundcheck with an audience present, then a 3-hour show and then a 3-hour after jam in some club somewhere. The funny thing is that although it is really hard work, I was never really tired on the gig, probably because it's all so inspiring and funky and fun. Maceo, Greg and Eric were fantastic to work with and I miss them already. Prince was amazing; funny, sweet and generous and I can't tell you what a treat it is to sit on the side of the stage, when I wouldn't be playing on some of the songs, and then have his voice in my in-ear monitors (a sort of walkman monitor) and then listening to him singing all those beautiful songs live in my ear. My admiration for Prince went up another notch again, because of the interesting path he's chosen. Instead of doing the same old thing he really went for the music, experimenting and trying new stuff every night.
