He pulled out of the gig at the last minute, giving no warning, hell even I was being told by people the gig was going ahead 100%,

Anyway, he owes us a show

If it was down to poor ticket sales then surely it would have been the promoter that cancelled. Prince was on a set fee - he wouldn't care if there were 1 or 100,000 people in the audience.

at the end of the day believe who U like....the tix were 2 pricey...the venue 2 big n it was a monday nite show....was never really going 2 work unless tix were cheap like 31.21 euros each 2 fill the place....its history now n MCD n prince have learnt there lesson.

i have it direct from MCD that there were talks 2 rescedule via william morris agency who r the agents 4 prince n was told he is not touring europe n 2009 but they r trying 2 secure prince 4 2 nites @ the 02 dublin ireland 4 2010.

( i personally met denis desmond @ the 02 n it was there where the deal on croke park was done.....prince was due 2 play slane castle ( FELL THROUGH ) so croke park was offered.)

all i am being told is that prince pulled the plug the day b4 the show was officially cancelled.
am i being told lies by my contact n MCD????
who knows....i aint lookin 4 no beef here cause its history...
lets just look 4ward 2 the next tour.

I was told the concert was agreed in principle and the promoters ran with it but contracts were not drawn up.


I seriously doubt prince or his representatives are actively booking gigs for 2010.
