General questions about aftershows Hi, I've never been to an aftershow, so I'd like to know if the price is included in the concert ticket, or U have to pay something more.
Thanks. | |

the normal concert ticket doesn't normally include entrance to the aftershow, as the concerts are in large venues and aftershows in small venues, thus not everyone could get in
in days of old you had to run from one venue to another and wait in line and pay on the door to get in, so you didn't know if you would get in or not, but in recent times the aftershows have been announced in advance and tickets sold online in advance so you know you will get in

Thanks, that would make it easier

[Edited 10/26/08 15:58pm] It kinda depends, you have to use your judgement, like during the 21 Nights in London it was obvious he was never gonna play after every gig, though perhaps it was a bit naughty charging £25 for the times he didn't perform. But that's Prince, we are all here for the ride, you climb aboard and whatever happens, its sure to be an adventure Homer Simpson: "I call the big one Bitey"!!

Whatever the wording was when they went on sale, anyone who really believed Prince would perform at every afterthingy must have been living in cloud cuckoo land so I still stand by my previous comment. Homer Simpson: "I call the big one Bitey"!!

So your saying its ok for Prince to take £27.50 per head, let people queue up for hours late into the night and then not appear/perform or lay on any entertainment as happened to me on 11/08/07 just because Prince fancied going partying with Pdiddy ? that sounds like a rip off/pi** take to me. If Prince isn't playing 21 nights at an aftershow, he shouldn't sell 21 nights for an aftershow, simple, if he sold 21 nights of 20,000 tickets for the O2, but then decided to play 1 in 2 gigs, so 20,000 people were turning up everynight as a lottery if he plays or not, imagine what would happen !!! Prince was behaving like an egotistical to**er who thinks he can fleece his fans as he fancies, and events have repeated since with the Dublin fiasco, he might find his fans aren't so loyal/stupid in the future.
