What if I am not in NY, but can make/pay my way there?

not to be all whitney about it, but SHOW ME THE RECEIPTS.

seriously. if you don't live in the NYC area and you're chosen as a winner, we will need PROOF that you are already scheduled to be in NYC on the 10th.

sorry to be so hardcore about it, but we really can't risk having anyone flake out on an opportunity like this. once we announce winners, we want to feel secure that those winners can make it to the gig.

plus, with all the love prince has given the west coast and the midwest over the past few years, i think it would be fitting to let the locals in NYC have some fun with the man, don't you?

i'm not saying out-of-towners won't be considered...but if you get picked, we'd better feel REALLY confident that you have a flight picked out and you're on your way.

not sayin'. just sayin'. neutral

I have receipts for you Anxiety, if u want to see them. (And I'm just down the road from New York in Philadelphia biggrin )

Just a reminder...for those of you who do not win this contest, there is also the excruciatingly mysterious ".org and HQ's Infinite Contest" going on here and at Housequake.com, which promises more opportunities for you to be part of the NYC insanity Friday night. Don't miss out!

just a few minutes until the lucky winners are chosen.

and remember, if you don't see your name among the fortunate four, all is not lost. get busy on the ".org and HQ's Infinite Contest" thread and look for clues to help you get access to the special night. you never know where the hunt will lead you...

I made it all the way to London and had great seats. It will be harder for me to get into this not-yet-announced venue in my own town then it was across the pond.

While we're waiting, I want to just say how blown away blessed I feel to be able to work with Housequake.com on this. It's a really cool opportunity for fan sites to come together for something POSITIVE that celebrates the artist we've created these sites around. Despite all the rumblings and mumblings of alleged animosity and rivalry between the two sites, it's been a wallop of a Kumbaya moment for me to partner with Gav and the folks at HQ to make this one of the most fun, exciting and memorable events we've ever had the opportunity to participate in.

So thanks for a job well done, HQ. This has been a blast and I hope we have many opportunities in the future to make our combined communities climb the walls! lol

I was thinking just how cool that was too! And, how the critical elements required (ie moderators here and there) jumped in and made it that way. Thank you.

Thank you not only for doing this but for working so hard to make it fun and exciting and somewhat infuriating (I did absolutely no work today, which is no way for me to behave during an economic crisis). I hope you can recover from it all now, and I hope you don't think I orgnoted you too much. boxed biggrin

Thanks for the kind words Anx.

Many have asked what came of the "PFU" alliance. Originally it was formed for something negative but I hope this demonstrates the positivity that can be demonstrated, not only with the fan groups coming together but also working with Prince's team working openly, honestly and with great humour ! biggrin

It ain't over yet though folks wink
