I think the lesson to be learnt over croke park is this:

before the o2 prince actively advertisied himself through his own site, he sold exclusive packages through his own site, he emailed previous npgmc members with exclusive deal on tickets, he made a press announcement in the spring prior to the summer residency.

croke was not advertised particularly well, there was no offical website, there were no emails, there were no offical announcements or tv appearances.

Prince knows how to promote himself.

I think that Italy is definitely the hoped for next residency at this moment in time as it is printed in his book.

whether he will negotiate it to actually happen is another thing.

When we see an offical site, such as the 21 nights one then you will know that a concert is for real.

I also think we will see info coming through the org like we did for the book launch. Prince knows where his bread is buttered and he knows who buys his gold circle tix!

I think that Prince is kind of unpredictable ! I don't give too much to poll-results on his homepage one year ago nor to certain hints in "21nights" and I don't think that there will be something like his London-residency in the near future

But I do hope that he will be visiting Europe at least with a small tour in the next couple of years, doing gigs in North-,Middle-and South-Europe !
In times of concerns about environment and CO2-emissions anyway he should come to us fans/fams and not the other way, which means much more traffic and pollution....

But let's face it: after years of waiting in vain I might even go to Las Vegas to see Prince LIVE again !!
