You can better spend your money, in stead of putting it on some (iceland) Bank wink

Do you know something about banks in Iceland that should ne revealed??!!

Maybe the residency would be there?????.....no THAT would be different!!!!

Well, Iceland could obviously do with some extra money. But i doubt the residency would be a success.

Well, I obviously spotted the hint for Rome in the book but didn't say anything.
With Prince, U never know, and talking about a dream too much prevents it from coming true.
I'm italian and I would also be, what, moooore than happy to have Prince in my country for 21 nights (I would move to Rome from Milan and have a 21 nights residency myself). But let's face these points:

1. Rome is not as big as London

2. Although Rome welcomes people from all over the world, they mainly speak italian, that would take away the intimacy of the dialogues Prince had in London with his fans.

3. Even if Prince is a worldwide famous superstar, I'm afraid that off 21 nights, we could have a total sold out just in 10, 15 nights. This is because italian musical culture is basically different from an english and also european point of view. So this is risky.

4. I don't know if in Rome there is a place like the O2 Arena, supplied by any mean necessary for a Prince 21 nights' residency.

So, if I go to a Prince concert, I want a quality and much enjoyable show. As an italian fan and most of all as a Prince fan, I would suggest this:

Going to Paris.

Going back to London.

for me both cities are equal for a residency,if I think back to the poll on the 3121 homepage, I believe Paris was the winner?!
does anyone believe Prince will respect the vote?? I mean it was the poll on his homepage.

I think Prince will play where it pays him the most £££, he portrays this romantic view of playing the O2 as a dream, but the O2 residency came about as they were just opening and wanted a big headline event to launch the arena, which Prince could deliver, so he got a great deal from the O2 to play there, I don't think he'd get the same deal at the O2 or in Paris.

I went to London 4 times in 2007, it's just a 50Minutes flight or so from my city in Germany.
But within Europe I'd go nearly anywhere.

London was G R E A T, especially The Indigo! What a club!
Amsterdam is even nearer to me...
Berlin is no problem at all, of course.
Paris would be perfect!
Get sexy sex, get funky at... The ORANGE Park - Funky President, people, it's bad!

Another 21 nights might be in NY. He hinted at the NY concert if I'm not mistaken.

Paris and London are really close by train so why would he do it in Paris?
Logically I think he will not do it in Europe as he already did London.

I think in the US somewhere and NY would be the best place ideally because of the number of people that could attend. The problem would be where, since NY is so expensive I don't think we could be given 31.21 fare ??

I can see Prince playing 21 nights in NYC, but I don't know about during the winter months. Maybe L.A, Vegas, and possibly Miami because people are always touring these cities year round especially Vegas.

Would be a great excuse tot visit the US. BUT I much rather have Europe. I'm a busy woman and the US is a little expensive for a hit and run.

this would be great. Should definitely be in the USA and should be in NYC. He'll get the most longterm press in NYC

People are still talking about the Gansevoort show like it was just last night smile
