I'm afraid thats probably it for quite a while. I can't see him doing any more gigs for normal folk without the use of an official website. I hope I'm wrong but he won't enter into another 16/6 situation again for quite a while. Nope it will be new album or his 21nights book before he deals directly with the media again.

We'e had years without tours in the past. I do like his concerts, no doubt, but there is no obligation for Prince to tour every year. (especially at his age lol)

Yes, i voted of course (Funky Holland!)
But i agree with others, we at least have to wait until the book comes out. That would be something different, a tour not to support an album but a book! reading

Don't think there'll be a tour after the book. I think it'll be one gig only.

Another gig in London? or not, bevause in London they know about the 21 nights, but not that much in other countries. A tour would be a great idea. But i could live with a residency in the Netherlands..... lol

I'm keeping everything crossed for SOMETHING in London to compliment the release of the book/CD/DVD. Gigs at smaller, intimate venues would be dreamy...and oh yes, I owe my fab daughter a Prince show after the Croke let down...she worked so hard in school this year...movin' on to Phd in M-U-S-I-C-O-L-O-G-Y!!! biggrin

Yes he is 50, so he might not be really old, i'm just pointing out that he gets older and i combine that with the fact that touring is more or less exhausting. I am not saying he will never tour again, just that it might not be every year. what is your point?

Is 50 like the new 70 or something?
Prince needs to tour.Look at this place...everybody is so restless and I think its an overall feel of desperation. Its been like that for a while. If people wanted to see Prince in the last couple years they had to pay money to travel and then ontop of that they had to pay money to actually see him.I think a a good tour hitting some major cities would be GREAT.Even tho people do have alot of negative stuff to say about Prince's new music...it seems as tho they calm down when they hear the songs played live.I just really want to see him.I thought that I was going crazy when I never saw Prince live but after you see him its like you know how it is and now u want it even more...lol,why does it feel like Im talkin about crack or something falloff
but anyway...PRINCE NEEDS TO TOUR!
im out. razz

I agree with Rorywan I dont think he'll enter into a fiasco like dublin again for a while. I also dont think hes going to tour or why else do the 21 nights in one place last year?

I think there may be a UK TV appearance or a one off show for the book, but maybe a celeb thing like he did in LA already with press coverage.

Im betting on the indigo again.

Yep, gotta agree, how could the 21 nights b released without a celebration in LONDON. I don't think the Indigo is inappropriate for the occassion! Bring it on... Ha! Ha! Ha!
