JohnCyprus said: I have been trying to purchase a ticket from Ticketm***** for the past 3 months for this concert. I was planning to fly in from Cyprus as I did for the O2 concerts last year. To arrange all my flights and hotels, I first need to purchase a ticket for the show. However our friends at the above site, insist on selling the crap seats first, slowly working their way to the front. Pitch or Gold circle tickets were a non starter, just kept re-routing us to try again, and only 3 weeks before the actual gig did they start to release better seats. This is exactly what they did with O2 shows. Surely its better to sell out from the front backwards, at least that way if it aint totally sold out, then it still looks goods, no point in filling the stand at the other end and having great big gaps nearer the front.
So I never booked any tickets due to this problem, imagine how many others had the same problems.

SO HAHAHAHAHAHAHA who's laughing NOW!!!!! Yes, I was sad that he cancelled but, as a real Prince fan, as soon as another tour is announced, I will be at the front of the queue for tickets. This happened with Blenheim Palace but it didn't put me off. How negative a comment can you make

This happened with Blenheim Palace but it didn't put me off. How negative a comment can you make I don't think I'll be going to another Prince gig until he plays fairly close to where I live in the UK, I wouldn't risk travelling oversea's/hotels etc, its too risky with him now. I thought the O2 gigs were good shows, but below par for a Prince gig, the Prince I saw at the O2 twice in 2007 is a pale shadow of the artist who cancelled Blenheim in 1991, then I would (did) go all over the world to see his gigs ! and that was after he ran out of the UK during the SOTT tour ! [Edited 6/18/08 10:36am] Actually 39, sweetie, and I was at all the O2 gigs and aftershows, plus I had Sign o the times gigs at wembley in 86 cancelled, so I know he cant be trusted. I went to all the Lovesexy in 88 gigs so those of you anoraks who think Im some twat, think again. And those who refer to me to get back to my porn mags, well, you tell me who the saddos are, people who spend ours on this site trying to predict when Prince what his playlists will be, when we all know the small groups of songs he plays together, its justa matter of what order he plays them in. Better to leave it as a surprise instead of spending hours predicting what his next move will be. You guys get a life and enjoy the genius the proper way, instead of waiting for him to fart and then posting a thread saying "I TOLD YOU HE WOULD DO IT" I have studied his music and play in a tribute band as the lead guitarist and as a musician no one compares to Prince, he is a genius, but I wonder how many of you actually know anything about music. All your interested in is what colour his shoes or pants will be next time on stage and what time and second he will appear, GET A LIFE GUYS, and Prince if you read this you will know where Im coming from, dont it feel spooky to have all this anoraks stalking your every move? LOVE YOU ALL U ANORAKS

I think all the orgers who still went to Dublin should be laughing. We had a great two days in a fantastic city with an amazing Prince tribute! I wasn't born until 1987, so I will never get any closer to seeing purple rain era Prince as I did that night. So there!

Good for you Pippa - glad you had such a great time. Just got my refund for the tickets and have managed to get tickets to see George Michael - not Prince (nothin' compares to Prince) but something to look forward to in August

this guy is a moron.
And someone who starts his own thread on a forum about 'who's laughing now' and then calls other people anoraks... I'm sure he has lots and lots of friends in 'the real world'. (But he's a musician. oh god. I think I love him!) Twat.
