I've been a fan of yours since 1983....in fact Purple Rain is one of the first albums I ever bought....you brought so much happiness to me over the years and I supported you through the times all my friends made fun of the name change and all that....I have literally spent thousands on your work and have travelled from Dublin to the UK and Vegas on numerous occasions to see you...


Words can't express what your music has meant to me over the years when other things in my life weren't going as planned...

I know you are a 'star' (whatever that mines), but try to put yourself in our shoes (the fans) about the cancellation....

I know you have this mysterious persona you have built around yourself...but we dedicated fans see throug this ...at the end of the day having seeing you close up in Vegas you are a truly gifted man who loves goodness and is at heart a good person...


Please release a press statement to us or the Irish media or something about what happened.....


The silence is deafening....you really need to set up a new website to keep us informed...most fans now have transgressed the image thing and just see the talent.

sadly i think alot of people don't give a monkey's about what he has to say, he's cancelled and they are out of pocket and angry.

I'd be interested in what he has to say, considering he's a world class, control-freak, i'm surprised he didn't apparently have any control of this situation himself.
