Ticketmaster.ie telephoning everyone

i just got called to tell me the concert was cancelled and that theyre refunding, i told the girl i didnt fancy her job much - poor cow!

Well done to Ticketmaster, I had loads of trouble with them over the VIP O2 package and had to make a claim against them, but credit where's its due, if there phoning the fans who have paid to let them know whats happeneing.

At least someone is speaking to the fans ! never thought I'd say that about ticketmaster !

I just realised that I wouldn't know the concert was cancelled if it wasn't for the Org... i've heard nothing at all from ticketmaster and i'd be merrily packing my bags and looking forward to the show!

We're still coming to Dublin anyway for a fun few days and hopefully I'll feel able to listen to Prince music without being too depressed and we'll join you guys at one or more of the places you've suggested!!
You might not like the taste but I'm still gonna stick your face in this FUNK

Lovely Irish guy from TM phoned me this morning, even tho I'd already had email earlier in week....told him I was coming over for a piss up anyway and he laughed & said have a great time!

I got an e-mail from them 2, but no phone call as yet!
Does any1 know how the refund will work?
Such as sending tickets back (hassle) and card refunds? Especially as I no longer have the card that I purchased the tickets with eek

I think your c/c account will be credited with the amount, should show on next statement, I don't think you have to return tickets....

Ohh cool - Thanx 4 that info - its only that the card I used expired so I'm hoping that doesnt make any difference??

I got a call from Ticketmaster Dublin yesterday, telling me the shows cancelled and refund details..credit where credits due, well done for a change TM.

I think you should call them if it expired - has it gone completley or just replaced by a new issue. If youre rid of it completely then Id feel inclined to call to give them another way of refunding you. Ill check at work today to see what happens in this case as we have credit card facilities too.

I think you should call them if it expired - has it gone completley or just replaced by a new issue. If youre rid of it completely then Id feel inclined to call to give them another way of refunding you. That's the same situation as me, my credit card's been replaced since paying for the tix (same account but different card number), but I called the bank yesterday and they said it shouldn't make any difference.

I was just going to start a thread actually, has anyone been credited any money back yet ????!!!

I'm not sure about that one - sorry!

Hmmm.. within 5 working days they said! So they've got until Monday lol!! It must be a nightmare for Ticketmaster in all honesty, but now that it's cancelled I can't help wanting my money back NOW!!

Thanx 4 that guys hug - well, I spoke 2 some1 from my bank and they said that if the card is more than 1 month expired (which mine is), then that could b a problem, they suggested I wait a few days and see whether it goes thru and if not then I should call ticketmaster!!

Actually I think my card expired too since the booking, but it's the same credit card number as before, just a new expiry date.
