I tend to believe Prince is playing when the tour starts, he's cancelled a few times in the UK ... SOTT ... Blenheim Palace ....

For some reason I doubt he will cancel, then again maybe that is because our tickets came yesterday lol. If he did though what would happen? What has happen in the past when he has cancelled?

I had tickets for Blenhiem Palace as well, cancelled mainly due to bad weather and the stage was all Neon lights.

The purple master is a different person now, all will be good, dont panic.

If all else fails there will be 50,000 prince fans getting drunk in Dublin that night

So bored with the
is he going to cancel - do you think it'll be cancelled - I hope it's not going to be cancelled

I'm sure the whole thing would send P over the edge of reason.

Unless there is going to be a tour, I find it odd for him to come all the way over to Ireland to just play one gig and then head off back home. I'm sure he's being paid very well. I wouldn't be overly surprised if it was cancelled.

That is just plain stupid.
He flew to Russia to play at a birthday party.

'All the way over to Ireland' You will find most major artists in the world like
to play Ireland.

You do realize he flies don't you? On a plane?
He doesn't have to walk since he made it big with Purple Rain.

You normally get a refund, I can't remember a Prince gig ever being re-scheduled ? not like he cancels for being ill, its normall cos he storms off in a huff lol

I still have my unused SOTT Wembley ticket, there a collectors item now.

Thanks for letting me know what happens…well if he did I guess we can all look forward to moaning for a few years and keeping the ticket as a souvenir, a valuable souvenir may we add lol.

Hey I really doubt he will cancel, I mean to me it seems like:

he really loves performing,
the audience will be crazy excited to see him,
and if he didn’t he would get a few rods stuffed up his bum hole by a lot of you guys, lol, then again he might like that sort of thing wink

June 2004 Prince played only one of the 5 scheduled dates for Chicago.
The remaining 4 were not cancelled, rescheduled (3 in July and the last one in August).

I've never heard of a Prince show being re-scheduled, but I don't pay too much attention to the US tours, I guess its eaier to reschedule US dates as at least he's in the same country, on a european tour he tends to play a couple of nights then onto the next country (unlike the O2 which was abit unusual), so re-arranging to come back to a country would be a logistical nightmare, why were the original Chicago concerts cancelled then ?

I think he will play Ireland as well, its just I never believe it until he's there, I remember thinking he wouldn't play Brixton Academy until he actually came onstage during Chaka's set saying 'this is my song' to I feel for you, awesome entry .....
