Flights still work out cheaper than anyone else if you book on time...flying return from Paris for less than 48 euros.

In any case many companies now operate the same system.

It's a 21st century thing; cheaper flights,we sometimes pay some extras and we no longer dress up to fly!!

i know they are cheaper even with the extras, but that is what annoys me about them. i would prefer if the initial price they gave was the price.

Rant over!!

i appreciate that they have brought great choice to us, and their prices are competitive, but advertise the actual price that it is going to cost. not price excluding bags, check in etc.

Once you get used to it it's not rocket science.

The bottom line is I think a lot of people wouldn't be going to Dublin if it weren't for Low Cost prices.

A lot of people sometimes seem to have a bee in their bonnet about Ryanair and yet they'll frequent other companies who aren't the perfect employer or who do "misleading" advertising.....as I said we have a choice. if you wanna pay more on Air France or KLM you can do it.

Rant over!!!! lol

a little transparency in all advertising is not too much to ask. i recently booked flights that started out at 40euro return, that ended up costing 290. now i know that that was still good value, but when you see tthe charges for credit card, per passenger, it irks me.

Why are people so hung up about Ryanair? They are selling you a seat on a plane and charge you for it. The fucking government then add on extraordinate travel tax. Not Ryanair. Fucking Labour. They cannot advertise the price with bags and insurance as most do not use them. I NEVER put a bag in. I NEVER buy insurance and I only pay the flight cost. I also check regularly and book flights to here, there and everywhere for little to nothing. The one thing about all the carriers I hate is the credit card charge. It's near £5 per person. You have no choice but to book online and pay by credit card but it is one transaction and they should not charge you per person.
Looking for a new man. Freaks need not apply. Freeeks can tho ;-p

Its the way they go about it. The extra costs are NOT all tax. They bundle tax and "surcharges" in there to make it look like it the governments fault. In reality, they are hiding additional cost in the "tax" section of the ticket price.

At least Easyjet split it out more honestly.

sorry for slow reply....barm, bap, teacake, muffin, or plain old roll. The piggy symbol gives a clue as to what's inside. Whatever, there is no way ryanair will let me on with a stash of Greggs butties. Besides I thought an Irish breakfast was legendary? I hope you are not a ciabatta man.

eeuhh maybe as a tip for people considering to go to Dublin? You do know there is a prince-CONCERT over there? Looks to me it fits just fine in this category: " Where they're at, how to get to the shows, how to meet up with other .org'ers, where to eat nearby smile, and reports on the shows go here" .
