Nighttown gig on dutch radio

My friend called to say that i had to turn on the radio immediately. 3FM played some of the nighttown gig. I was already too late, it was over. Did anybody hear what's been played besides bambi?

I sincerly doubt Radio 3FM would have access to recordings of this show.
It's highly unlikely they got them from Prince. And i know for a fact Nighttown didn't make any.
Why do i know this? The booker of Nighttown --who i've been in touch with over the passed weeks, when they were organising the Nighttown gig-- called me today to see if i could hook him up w/ a recording of the gig (just for his private collection.)
I think your friend heard wrong.
Unless it was an audience recording, in which case i want a copy to give to the guys of Nighttown lol

Hey, thanks 4 the link...there's indeed a report on the Nighttown gig during this Nov 5th radioshow!!! Including a snippet of a guitar solo of the gig, but it's mainly an interview with fams and scalpers standing in line about ticketprice and such. It starts at 36 minutes into the first hour of the show and lasts untill the 50th minute ending with "Money Don't Matter 2nite" biggrin

It's a nice report, sadly not much live music... but calling Prince 'een uitgerangeerde popartiest' is quite disrespectful... but ok, he was teasing the crowd a little about the ticket price.

Anyway, good that the gig got some attention on VPRO radio..
I hoped for some music from the second half of the show.. I had to leave during the break 'cause my friend became very ill (she's doing fine now smile
