My recollections of Blenheim palce being cancelled are slightly different to other people's it seems! First of all, i heard it was cancelled because the 'promoter' hadn't actually set it properly, and then ran away with the money...essentially a scam...there's no reason to think that's going to happen as AEG are at least a genuine promotion company(though obviously some people resent the vip ticket price at the O2) When it was cancelled we were offered the choice of either a refund or an exchange for other tickets - a series of concerts were aranged at Earl's court, apparently because Prince wanted to make up for what had happened. I got two tickets for Earl's Court at the front in row B. The only cause for complaint would be that the face value for the Earl's court tickets was less than that of the Blenheim palace tickets, but prime tickets were given in exchange so i didn't really mind. The other thing that happened was 'Money Don't Matter 2 Nite' was released as a single....which my frineds mum thought was in bad taste given that the concert was cancelled! | |

yeah but blenhiem palace was sunbject to license and he didnt get it as it was an outdoor gig. He wont cancel this its too close and sold too many seats - hell ive bought two lots to get nearer the stage!!! I hate to say it- but Croke Park is still 'subject to licence' too...
