Dublin hotel

This little darling needs a place to stay in Dublin.
I'll come to this funky city with my babysister (19 year old, but still my babysister) and I'm searchin for a nice and safe place to stay. Somewhere close to the airport? Or close to the venue? Not to expensive, although money's not really an issue.
Help me out here!

Thanks you guys

thats Im staying and a few other orgers, its supposed to be quite close and yet central to bars and sites etc. Im staying from Mondy to Wednesday, some are arriving Sat I think.

Seems like a nice place and I liked that it was family run.

Im going, hubby and 13year old son.

Hi guys, Im staying in the Fleet Street hotel. Its right in Temple Bar (where all the bars are). the rooms were at bout £70 a night, which is quite reasonable considering the location. This was the best deal I could find.

okay so i have booked into a hotel biggrin

its called Browns and they reckon its about 10 minutes from Croke Park and it is near the city centre

http://www.dublin-hotel.n...tels/p/12/

it cost me £75 for a single room but the hotel only has 25 rooms so if you are intrested i would ring them quickly

i got in contact through this number 00353 1 8550034

not sure what it will be like but better than nothing i am only staying there for the one night and hopefully i will find the aftershow so if it is bad i will only be there for a few hours if it isnt the best lol

i am so excited i dont think anything will make me sad today excited

Daaalings Dublin is expensive.

Try the youth hostels ( not so bad!). Or Jury's Inns....basic but clean. The one in parnell street is closest to Croke park. Jurys also have a more expensive hotel just beside Croke Park

jurys was fully booked unless they have had any cancellations and the jurys hotel is expensive

the problem with youth hostels is they often shut the doors at a certain time so if anyone was gonna try and find an aftershow or go out afterwards they could end up locked out lol

I already spent most of my money on concerts and cd's... Anyway, I won't go on holiday this year (that is, unless I like Ireland that much I wanna go back. Planned on visiting Ireland for a while now, and 2 days don't count) so I can afford something. If the man will do a tour though, i'll follow him around.
