Questions about Nighttown

1) Some clubs won't allow trainers (sneakers). Is Nighttown one of them? Are there any other rules we need to know about?

2) Would anyone be able to explain in English the directions from Rotterdam Central station to the club? (Or even better, from the station to the Hilton and from the Hilton to the club).

3) How long (roughly) is a train journey from Amsterdam airport to Rotterdam? Would you recommend prebooking the train or can we just turn up and jump onboard?

Sorry about all the questions, but I'm having trouble finding clear (English) info on the net.

Thanks in advance

Max

peterl

from amsterdam 2 rotterdam is approx. one hour train journey

Nighttown: when u leave the station it is straight ahead...
after maybe 500 (coul b less) meters it is on your right hand.

the Hilton is ,leaving the station, all the way 2 the left, it's near the "hofplein"

trust me, u can put on your sneakers...

good luck...

AFAIK there's no dresscode.
Can't think of other rules except 'normal' behaviour.
No prebooking for the train required. Prebooking is not common in the Netherlands.
Train takes 3/4 to 1 hour. Cost is 8 euro 90 for single trip.

The Hilton is from the CS:
To the left, then to the right into the Karel Doorman straat and then to the left at the Weena. (from my CD-foongids)

Nighttown is from the CS:
Straight ahead, the first right into the West Kruiskade.
Then it's at your left after some distance.

Thanks Peterl and Udo for putting my mind at rest - I wanted to be comfortable, it's going to be a long night!

Winterman, I'm neither Vanity nor Appalonia(sp?). Running around in my underwear (especially in November) is not an option. Thanks anyway!
