I'll come to this funky city with my babysister (19 year old, but still my babysister) and I'm searchin for a nice and safe place to stay. Somewhere close to the airport? Or close to the venue? Not to expensive, although money's not really an issue. Help me out here! Is that the Carton House in Maynooth??? If that is the one in Maynooth (http://www.cartonhouse.com/), it's ages away - it would be 45 mins drive from the city centre, double that in rush hour. Nice place, esp. if you play golf, but not well located if you're planning for an aftershow. Last late bus goes at 2am http://www.dublinbus.ie/y...?route=67n | |

It's really central which is great but that can also mean a lot of people around and noise etc. If you got a good price it's probably fine...there are a lot of hotels in this area so it's as safe as any city centre location. If we’d left it much longer we might have been camping. Got my way in the end it’s not the Four Seasons but we have gone for the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel. It’s a bit pricy but then again so were the concert tickets so why stop there might as well pamper ourselves. Is anyone else staying there? We used www.laterooms.com (good to compare prices) and www.tripadvisor.com (good for reviews)  camping could have been fun

stay at the Dylan i have just got back from Dublin and stayed there for 4 days been to Dublin 4 times and stayed at a different hotel each time including The Four Seasons, this place can't be beaten. | |

Just hope you can prebook aftershow tix like the o2 don't want to waste 2 hours drinking time getting to venue only not to get tix for it I've seen the future and it will be | |
