http://www.fourseasons.com/dublin/ WOLFY [Edited 4/28/08 9:46am] Now Wolf you should know thats just plain silly. P is not staying in the Four Seasons for the dublin trip, but you know that don't you?. Also the four seasons in dublin is not worth the money. It's really quite sloppy, go the one in Paris if you want to experience a proper version. Beef Burger for £35.. mmmm. Lovely. And the bar in FS Dublin is shite. Small, souless full of itself, you know, like some of the pubs in Kerry! [Edited 4/29/08 2:34am] "My God it's full of Stars"

And just to get back on topic. A note to everyone visiting Dublin. Unfortunately our main street is now rather dangerous at night. As are some other inner city areas. Just be careful. Hotspots to avoid in my opinion would be o'connell st, cristchurch. templebar is fine, because it is constantly full of tourists, a little dangerous late night. Most of the chain hotels are fine if you can get in there at this point. Croker itself is not in the best location, but again it's fine when busy. Just be careful fellow orgers! Dublin is the same as every other european country, good and bad bits!

this seemed to be quite a good website to me I booked into this place in the end last night http://www.booking.com/ho...ns.en.html it's got fairly average reviews, but it seems reasonably priced and is a good location...plus it's attached to a music shop, which swung it for me | |

I'll come to this funky city with my babysister (19 year old, but still my babysister) and I'm searchin for a nice and safe place to stay. Somewhere close to the airport? Or close to the venue? Not to expensive, although money's not really an issue. Help me out here! Thanks you guys Me and hubby have booked an apartment through staydublin.com, worked out approx £70 for the night and only about 10 mins or so from Croke Park.
