Croke Park, Gold Circle A or B?

Does anyone know the difference between gold circle A and B tickets?

Two semicircles we think. A on the inside, B on the outside. So even Gold has it's differences. If you're in B welcome to the club. I'll send you the t-shirt that says "Bollocks! Stitched Again!"

That's not meant to mean that we've had our bollocks stitched.

Thanks for that, I haven't got my tickets yet, just looking at options on ebay and wondered if it's worth paying the extra for "A" tickets, guess it is.

I didn't know that had been confirmed, I may have missed it but I thought the venue said there was no difference it was just different entry gates or something? There was a lot of speculation about him using the symbol stage with the long arrow bit protruding into the gold circle splitting it in half (with A on one side and B on the other, but no difference in quality).

Did the 2 semi-circles thing get confirmed by the venue?
You might not like the taste but I'm still gonna stick your face in this FUNK

i think back when the tickets were first released someone phoned/emailed the venue and they said it was 2 semi-circles but then ticketmaster reckons there is no difference between A and B so no one is really sure

Hi I am also in B.

I bought our tickets over the phone and unless I missed it I don’t think they even stated A or B. It was only when I saw the debate on the org that I rang the Irish Ticket Master and found out we were in B. The gentleman I spoke to also said there’s no difference between A/B and that it’s to do administration/numbering of the tickets.

I think I will write to them tomorrow and see if I can get written conformation. As I’m starting to doubt this is the truth!

I will keep you posted smile

while those tickets were the same price you'd think there's no difference... right? Anyway We'll wave at eachother, won't we IWould?

I'm also keen to find out difference - I'm in B too.

Hmmm...'B'....

"Behind the lucky Gold A's" ?
"Bad view" ?
"Bastards at Ticketmaster lied!!!" ?
"Broken neck from trying to get a decent view" ?
"Botched administration at Ticketmaster again" ?

Hmm.

"Bugger".

Surely ticketmaster would have to show the difference between Gold A and B on the seating plan before people buy. I bet there will be no difference between the 2.

JUST GOT THIS FROM TICKETMASTER YAY!

Dear Customer,

There is only one Gold circle, the reason on the ticket A & B are
present is for crowd control. Basically this will state what entrance
you are to enter via. Once you are in the area you can stand where you
wish.

What about G4 in the centre of your ticket? Is that printed on it?
I think G2 is on the centre of Gold B.

i dunno who i would trust over this issue both are giving different answers
i am personally more tempted to believe croke park over ticketmaster mainly because of the fact ticketmaster previously have made mistakes and i should think the venue would know what is going on inside their own venue but its not long till we find out and i am sure it will be a great show no matter wjat happens

Well my two B tickets came to £450. Bet not many of you had to pay that much sad I panic bought and sold my seated tickets. So I just hope that there isn't a difference between the two areas. Either way I'll still be standing further back. My short arse wife and my dancing shoes require that I have suitable space.

Still a bit pissed that there won't be any booze though. No pun intended.

Exactly the same, just the centre text G2/G4 is different on As and Bs.

Hi just to update I have had a similar response to the A vs B query from Ticket Master as Barbara07's. I realise they may not stick to their word, so if you are also in B it might be wise to email/write a letter so you have your own personal response. Hopefully not required!!!!

See you all in the hottest place to be this June

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email.

We can confirm that the term A and B are there to determine what route
to take into the venue. This is a measure taken as part of crowd
control. When you get into the venue there is only one Gold Circle area.
