anyone heard of an mtv special on Prince current tour..If so, can someone get me a copy...There were shots of soundchecks, gig and aftershows...

Of the Europe tour or the US tour?

But doesnt Prince criticise MTV?

Would that make him a hypocrite?

1. you know MTV has filmed a special (in which case what exactly do you know) ... or
2. you've heard a rumour (in which case how reliable is the source? Is it just fanbase speculation?) that there is a special and you are looking for confirmation ... or
3. You just wondered whether there is an MTV special on a sheer whim.

(Please be aware that Prince has been filming during the tour - he shot film of John Blackwell during the soundcheck whilst running through Muse 2 The Pharaoh in London, and there was much filming during the London concerts. However, it is not known what will happen with the footage yet. It has fuelled speculation that a film of ONA - Live! might materialise but nothing has been announced).

I really hope there's going to be a release of live ONA show or afterparty footage. It was nice to see a show unhindered by superfluous effects, unaffected. I think that will come across great on film. Besides, the world should have more live footage to cherish.

MTV is actually sponsoring the tour, right? Their logo is on the tour posters, so it would not surprise me if they are allowed to view some footage from the tour..

The MTV logo was on the posters in Stockholm.

in Holland there was no MTV logo on the posters but the logo of Dutch TV station YORIN.

The MTV logo was on the posters as well as the tix in Oslo.

funny that Prince complained about radios in Italy when the sponsor was a big radio network...
