Anyone else got a Dublin dilemma?

I am on the horns of a dilemma.

Do I book a ticket, flight and hotel in Dublin or do I sweat it out in case other shows are announced?

I live just north of funky London on the train line that now extends in the centre of Paris...

But am I risking missing the only European date of the year????

hmmm

There are strong rumours of a concert in Denmark. A VIP tickets competition has been on and people have from different sources heard it confirmed that a concert is planned and scheduled. All we are waiting for is the official announcement.

Now would Prince only play Dublin and Århus/Denmark in June??? I don't think so...

Yes!
Dublin is going to be amazing. I live here so easier for me to say. But I did the o2 11 times last summer, you never regret a short flight and a cheapish hotel. Neither of which I did for the o2 so now i'm bankrupt!

What if he does not announce another gig? Also book now and get MUCH cheaper flights and hotels.

majorly so, i booked the flight + great hotel BUT have yet to buy Tix. Bsed on the 02 fiasco I really can't be arsed buying now. If they don't release good tix in the days leading up to the gig I'll just dip into Viagogo and get them that way instead.

the flights to dublin are so cheap why not go?

Then if Paris is announced save like mad and go to that too!

Eurostar aint cheap it would be cheaper to hire a coach for all the Londoners and get driven there via the chunnel!!

or fly from londoncity now thats fab for Paris so quick and easy Ive done that a few times for the lingerie shows I have to attend, on-line check in etc just walk on with a carry on bag and ur away - perfect. biggrin

Dilemma? Not really. Croke Park is less than 3km from my house.

So I'll probably go. Unless there's something good on TV that night. lol

Have I got my information wrong again? Århus is in Sweden I thought? Which Århus is the concert s'posed to be at?

BUT, BACK TO TOPIC...
are you mad!!!???

Don't miss a Prince opportunity.
(they may even be an aftershow - fingers crossed)

Last summer I used to see the shows, see the aftershows, get back to the hotel for an hr for a shower and fly to Dublin to go to work the next morning.
If it was on anywhere in Europe I'd go and do the same thing all over.

Worth every minute!!

Go!! Go!! Go!!
yes

Shame on you for not knowing your Lego from your IKEA! wink

Speaking of which, if you're flying from Dublin, there's a direct Ryanair flight to Billund (home of Legoland!), about 1.5 hrs away from Aarhus
