Prince a enflammé le Zénith

A 20 h 45, alors que son concert parisien avait commencé, hier soir, depuis à peine une demi-heure, Prince, 44 ans, entonnait, déjà, « Purple Rain », le morceau qui, au début des années quatre-vingt, à fait de lui une star. Et, mine de rien, c'est ça que les 6 000 personnes attendaient. C'est l'avantage avec l'Américain Roger Nelson, alias Prince. Même si ses récentes productions sont uniquement accessibles via Internet et lorgnent plutôt du côté du jazz, il ne rechigne jamais, lors de ses passages à Paris, à jouer ses anciens morceaux.

Après avoir entamé sa prestation par de larges extraits de « The Rainbow Children », son nouvel album, il ne s'est pas privé d'aller chercher aux tréfonds de son immense répertoire, comme un tourbillon funk à l'énergie unique. Après ce « Purple Rain », qui a fait se lever d'un seul homme le Zénith, Prince, tiré à quatre épingles dans un élégant costume croisé, a joué au passeur. Un passeur entre le rock et le funk, le funk et le jazz, le jazz et la pop. Epaulé par une section de cuivres dirigée par le vétéran Maceo Parker, il a mêlé tous ses thèmes, « Housequake », « The Work », dans une spirale irrésistiblement dansante et sensuelle. De quoi consoler ceux qui, désespérément, se demandaient comment obtenir des places ­ au prix exorbitant de 120 €­ pour son second concert, prévu pendant la nuit au Bataclan...

I think it was the song "with U" but U know them french people..
I just left the songs quoted as they quoted it..hehehehe
