"Good mornin' to yewww, good mornin' to yewww". As soon as that man opened his mouth in the Bataclan I was awoken from my I'm-tired-why-did-i-pay-$100-to-come-here slumber to experience a night of sheer joy.
Highlights 4 me were when he got the girls and "the fellas" to harmonise then sang over them both. I think that was more beautiful than the end of "Purple Rain". I hope he releases this track-I can't even remember what song it was- but I was speechless, the same way u felt the first time you ever heard a Prince song... Apart from the songs already listed he sang a few lines of Alicia's "Fallin" and also "Aint No Sunshine"...everthing was mixed up, one big jam...I can't even remember most of it as I was dancing like I was possessed. "She's Always in my Hair" was as amazing as ever and I think he did "!+1+1=3" again or maybe it was "Everlasting Now" (I can't remember, I think between the pre party in the Reservoir, the soundcheck, the concert, Prince's DJ and the aftershow concert I must've heard about 80% of his released stuff so it gets hard to remember where and when u heard each song). "Fatigue?" he asked repeatedly. "Me neither" and played some more. "What time is it?" he asked. The reply: "It's time to get funk-ay", a reply which we chanted over and over until time ran out... I have to say, Prince gave his all here and Paris did too. The cheering at the end of the night was deafening, I'm sure Prince must've wept when he heard it...oh what a beautiful night.

I was at the 2 shows in Paris. 2 great shows and I mean it. The Bataclan was 1 of the best aftershows I've seen in 15 years i followed him. But I have 2 points I've mailed 2 the NPGMC about this weird monday night : - 1 / When I'm paying 100 extra dollars for an aftershow (originally supposed free when I joined the club), I don't expect to be treated like s*** by the staff (mostly the french I agree). A girl almost stuck to death besides me. I was at Bataclan in 99, it was the same thing. I know Frenchs are undisciplined but the Bataclan Staff is well reputed here to be a bunch of jerks. Don't come back there. - 2 / I don't mind paying 100 bucks 4 a show. But I think it was unfair 4 the members 2 pay 4 the Bataclan, a "second show" in Paris the same night settled up at the last moment. Until now, I thought I was a member of something now I know I'm a "prince" customer. I know this is "what U do 4 living" and I respect that but, as a customer, and despite 2 great shows last night, I don't think I'll renew my membership. Proove me I'm Wrong. (and not by me paying more again) Peace. DAVID. well said. You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

There were hundreds of people desperate to pay 100 euros to get in. So I guess NPGMC don't give a fuck about your complaints mate
