Zenith + Bataclan First note heard around ten to five pm... last note heard around ten to five am!
Hello everyone, This probably will be filled with typos and all sorts of gramaticals, so bare with me. Kinda tired... Soundcheck Zenith: (about an hour and a half..) ummm... ok here goes... TRC Power Fantastic Sweet Baby Xenophobia C.O.O.L Automatic Shake Santana Medley Pass the peas (and other instrumentals in between a Macy Gray impression and a subleme Automatic) Not much interaction, I welcomed him back and he acknoledged with a "thank you nice to be here". When I asked him to play Empty Room, he curtly answered "This ain't TRL..." Interesting soundcheck which was about the music and ended something like this; ..."Paris I gotta take a bath, and I'll be right back." Concert: just under three hours TRC Muse Xenophobia Purple Rain The Work Mellow Housequake (snippet) 1 n 1 n 1 Gotta broken heart again Strange Relationship Rollercoaster Pass the Peas Take me with u Rasberry Beret Other side of the pillow Pop Life Starfish n Coffee Beautiful Ones everlasting Now Sign o the times Nothing Compares The Ladder When you were mine Days of Wild Very good show (the members, however, have lost that je ne sais quoi... I don't know, we've been to too many shows I suppose to be surprised) Bataclan 2h45 long! setlist went something like this... ? ? ? Bambi Whole latta love Family Name something in the water ? of U The One Fallin ? Ain't No sunshine Always in my hair Peach (snippet) shake The work 777 93 11 ? Hair Brick House Skin Tight ? ? Alphabet street all the critics dolphin santana come on ? ... too many "?" I know, but a lot of improvised jams on different loops were played. So there you have it. Prince was being more of a musician than showman (in my opinion). He didn't fool around too much, but when he did he was halarious! I'll leave alot of the rest of the qualitative statements for someone else. For me this was a fucking (excuse my French) incredible experience! Well a bientot,

Macy Gray impression was quite funny... oh wait, he also did a Shakira impression (her song) which was even funnier!
almost half of Brick House was played (very fun). the others were snippets. I don't know where Prince gets that kind of energy (its almost suspicious more tidbits... The Ladder was awsome. Dolphins I didn't like at all (some strange re-arrangement he's testing which doesn't do it for me) Prince was VERY impressive on Bass. voila
