The tickets are probably so expensive because most 'clubs' charge more for overheads as they open later and pay staff higher rates for working etc... can't b bothered to go in2 it all but u get the jist...

as I stated earlier, Prince doesn't have to pay to play in nighttown. Nighttown just gets the proffit from the drinks we buy. I think it will not have been different in Paris !!

I just couldn't afford the tickets either. . .so I put them on plastic. They are still there. And worth every penny.

And actually, while I went to the Seattle and Vancouver shows, I decided not to go to Portland because I just couldn't spend any more money on tickets, and what does he do? He plays a killer aftershow in Portland. The lesson? NOTHING IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN REGRETS!

The value of the NPGMC membership is very iffy, especially if he doesn't tour. But the value of the concert tickets is very very good, in my opinion.
