nice joke at Oberhausen soundcheck Just a few quick notes
Prince started by saying.. EINfart AUSfart Renato fart everybody fart Amazing soundcheck !.. All the critics, Something in the water, DMSR, Santana medley, She's always in my hair, Who Knows, [ Jimi Hendrix] and a few more A lot of people asked Prince about the expensive ticketprice for the second Paris concert [well done Desiree]. Prince countered it with a question: Isn't Rhonda allowed a bonus ? 23:50.. 4 hours of sleep and then off to Paris. I hope the weather will calm down and the aeroplane can take-off tomorrow... Concert had tunes like Peach, Purple Rain, Question of U, The One. Pop life was 2nd. Also played Housequake, 1+1+1=3, Sign of the times, Raspberry beret, TRC, Everlasting Now, Pass the peas, somenone will place a decent setlist.. ____________________________

He actually answered it by telling how many crew he had and that people shouldn't go to somemany concerts if it is 2 expensive. You know, I think that the prices are high, but what I really cannot understand is how people can be complaining about it all the time and in the same moment buy tickets to yet another show. And there are people who have seen a lot of shows. If it was just for the concert prices I could have seen maybe two more but there are also the travel costs... | |

Thing is, the concerts really aren't that much alike at all. I think he really changes the set list a lot, much more than in the US. One time he play Bambi, then he plays The Question of U, then SOTT...no wonder we wanna see all the shows! | |

After a half hour he stopped the soundcheck and talked with
out his micro and sat at the edge of the stage!It was a great experience!He was in very good mood and did a lot of jokes about the city name OOOberhausen!He talked a half hour ans said he couldn`t understood the ppl who went to 4,5,6...Concerts!All in all it was very great!! Germany... Ruhr-area. Not too far from the Dutch border. He did the `Oberhausen blues' during the show.
