I'd be happier if he didn't play that crap version of Let's Go. I'm sure plenty love it but for me it killed a great song. And let's hope he doesn't start with Purple Rain. The show should build up to that magical moment, not climax first.

So, as we were saying....gets dark in Dublin around 9.30.

Can't see Prince starting later than 9.

I would imagine ther's a "curfew" around Croke Park and concerts have to be well finished before midnight.

Event starts 7-7.30ish then we have B'Witched for an hour and ManZone performing for a bit.....chortles lol

Seriously, should think its around 8.30 - 9 pm for the MAIN EVENT and then 2 hours ish of hits 4 THE LAST TIME(yaddayadda) and by the end it will be plenty dark for the lightshow and the SPECIAL FIREWORKS someone once mentioned was happening..... razz

With Croke Park being in a residential area (more or less), the concert will start at the time it says on the ticket and finish before 10 or 1030 (not too sure what the permit usually permits). The locals will be non too pleased to have their sleeping habits disturbed by fireworks.

ok, I just saw a silent (TV on mute) snippet of some advert on British satellite tv for Prince at croke part before my auntie changed the channel (and as she's stone deaf she did not hear my screaming not to change the channel!!) Is this going to be broadcast or am I wishful thinking? Anyone else see this?

Barely....I fear this is gonna be a bit of a problem. If he starts at 9, should be ok.

To really find out what time it will probably be finishing phone up the guards (police) and ask them. Playing an outdoor concernt in a residential area will mean that, with a concert happening on a Monday evening, the gig will probably be over between 10 and 1030. I'd be very surprised if it went on later than 11.

Yeah would imagine 11 is an absolute max ( plus we have to get the bus home!!!)

Remember seeing Tina Turner and U2 outdoors in the summer....the lighting didn't really kick in until about 9;50
