I think this is a bit sad, this way it looks like he doesn't want to openly discuss simple, serious questions. From what I could understand he just wants a bonus for his band and himself. I think this reason is a bit lame and not the real reason. Anyone here got to hear this part better? But I didn't let this passage spoil last evening. The show was worth going to (although it was a bit difficult getting there due to the 'extreme' weather)! udo I think it isn't the discussion part he wanted to avoid. it's more a personal approach. I was lucky enought to be right at the front when Prince chatted to us...So I heard everything.
Just to clarify a few things.. One guy said to him that after seeing Prince's concert his girlfriend had become ill and P didn't take him too seriously saying...Hang on you trying to blame me for your girlfriend being ill?...he was being funny and we all laughed...but then he said, why aren't you with her? Why are you here if your girlfreinf is sick? the guy then said because she left me! We all felt a bit sad about that so P said, let me speak to her...so the guy started dialling but she never answered the phone...P said she not in?! ... he DID take another guys phone when he said will you sepak to my friend and habeded him a the phone...P thought he meant GIRLfriend so when a guy answered P said are you his Girlfriend?!!! You have a got a very deep voice!!! So the guy hung up (not knowing I suppose who he was speaking to!) So P said...he hung up!! We all thought that was very funny!! He was very relaxed and tried to answer some questions...some of us said thank you for this and that and he said I appreciate that thank you. He seemed to enjoy it...but he was serious about being surprised when we told him how many times we see each show...one girl said 100 times! He said thats crazy!!! Why do you want to see me so often? Someone then shouted because you change the shows each time...he laughed and said Ahhh! So I HAVE to keep changing the shows then?!!! We all said YEP!!! It was cool and P was just very sweet and funny. Just a foot note though...at the end of the show...those of you who went to this years celebration will know EXACTLY what I am talking about...those two American girls up on stage at the end...the ones who stood in line the whole week and arranged thier own lists...wow they get everywhere!!! | |
