I'm looking into booking somewhere for the night*, as I dont think I'll make the aftershow coming from the gold circle.

I might need to put on a small cover charge to cover costs if it goes ahead.

Any fellow Irish orgers willing to participate/help out do not hesitate to orgnote me.

*It will NOT be lillies

Sounds great! Where were ya thinking about? dancing jig

I think we should let wolfy arrange a decent pub for us all to meet up, It's the first time in Ireland for me. So let's hope he thinks of some where suitable. biggrin

Should be a great day up to Dublin.

If Monk is always in the Sunday World he must be a great gas.

Other advice for our foreign visitors or people up for the day.

As well as checking out the Sunday World newspaper, try to get some shopping in at Clery's department store-fantastic bargains to be had on all ladies and gents ranges.

Other tips for you people coming up to Dublin for the day; the Ashling hotel across from Heuston Station used to be a great meeting point for our friends from beyond the pale. Unfortunately it is now closed. Now the meeting point seems to be the Clarence owned by U2.Great craic can be had here before heading back to Westport or Tralee or wherever.

Depends where u are,for example if in gold circle be prepared to be dazzled by laser pens from jobsworth security that pinpoint you for more security to pounce and make u erase anything you have on phone like happened all around me at the O2 on final night, saying that with all the confusion around me no one spotted me and my Nikon 3 rows from stage.....BACK OF THE NET!!!!!

I did get caught at the Indigo2 but as I was marched away from my pints of vodka and redbull in2 a dimly lit security office and asked to show what I had on my camera,I boldy switched and brought out my phone which had nowt on it and was apologised for mistaken identity and ushered out with my Nikon bulging and concert and aftershow intact.....JOB DONE JURASSIC PARKKKKK

DON'T LET THEM RULE YOU!!!!!
