On a lighter note, one of my buddies work at the council offices and he said the planning permission issue will not be a problem, routine but time consuming was his two cents... and I had a browse on ticketmaster today and did various searches to sense how tickets were doing. looks like standing is sold and if you wanted to get 4 tickets together in either hogan/cusack stand you were getting 327/710 approx which is back third of stadium so I am guessing ticket sales are over 50,000 approx

best of all, got my gold A ticket today, had to go to ebay, could not get one morning of the sales and had to leave the house after one hour to attend the funeral.

I checked the weather for June 16th and it looks like rain in Gold A but warm and breezy on Gold B, I woonder can i change my ticket !

got alot of money but don't wanna spend it on me, except on ebay

Universal made a deal with fabchannel and iTunes to tape concerts of artist who opt for it. So fans could buy an official (and good quality) live tape (with pictures of that particular gig) along with their concerticket. I believe it's called digital souvenir pack'. Which you'll receive a few days after the actual gig.
Maybe it's something for the most bootlegged artist, our own Prince?
Linkin Park already signed up for it. The got tired of the bad-quality phone cams on YouTube.
On the other hand, at least they have SOMETHING on YouTube....

About the recording, several artists have done this already. I was at a Pixies gig a couple of years ago, bought a voucher at the merchandising kiosk and later entered the voucher code with my details on a website. A couple of weeks later a nicely packaged double CD arrived. Easy.
I don't understand why someone as good live as Prince hasn't gone down this route already. And if it was via ITunes (grrrr) or another digital medium, the overheads would be tiny.
