ah well (I was at the 28/08/07 aftershow anyway, so nothing could compare) yeah that was a great aftershow...although some were a disapointment like the dr john Xperience..LOL all the aftershow parties he did n ireland were special n a treat....if i find its the same setlist as the 02 i will b slipping out early as i have heard n seen all those songs n moves by the twinz several times... im sure it will b a great main concert but its a personal choice 4 me n that is why i wanna b near the front of the stage n the aftershow. as there is no Xclusive access 4 NPGMC members so far its gonna b every fam 4 themselves,,,, i know a few fams that were at 02 n there not going 2 croker...instead they will b camped out at the other venue....LOL. WOLFY [Edited 3/10/08 9:15am] by the end of that aftershow i didnt wanna hear dr john for a very long time afterwards i know i should have given up on seeing prince play that night when he was seen off stage looking out and then shaking his head and walking off but i guess i stood there just incase he decided to change his mind the O2 shows seem like forever ago now With Love there is no Death

I was at that show too - lots of disappointed fans that night. I only got to the first 3 shows and aftershows, so I was a bit jealous reading reports of later 'proper' aftershows. Hopefully we'll get one in Dublin. And that we get in.
Whatever issues people had with the NPGMC, at least last time he played here tickets booked through that site got the first 6 rows and free entry for the member into Spirit for the aftershow without queueing. [Edited 3/10/08 14:11pm]

not certain there'll b a main show yet, by the sounds of it! (riverjones & wolfy tryin 2 depress me ) is applying 4 a liscense something tht happens a lot? r the applications always successful? i'm not convinced tht being on a monday night is a problem 4 the concert, but defo the price of the tix. i admit i'm still shocked tht people expected 2 pay same price 4 ALL the seating as much as i lovee the man i don't love im enuff 2 take davin stand at 126 euros!!! i actually got great seats but wouldn't pay the same 4 anything less.... btw, i saw the gig being advertised in uk - i think it was the mail.[/quote] I saw that too, but it was a really small ad, I don't know that many people would have noticed it?

You really love to play with peoples minds don't you? Robbed? I spent approx the same to see the Police last year and they wouldnt be mmy favourite band, and I was up in the rafters of the Cusack Stand plus I got Gold Circle A and they cost me 112 euros to be exact, lol. PLus I felt compared to what we spent last summer to go see Prince in London that 112 euros wasnt even cause for discussion!!! Mind you I am not surprised it hasnt sold out, its a 80,000 seater venue and on a Monday night. I love the guy, but I think we all knew it wouldnt sell out... As long as it goes ahead, then I am happy. Cant wait for June 16th!!!

if so that is good ! its half sold out as we speak so if it was cancelled at croke the only other option is slane castle r somehwere that could accomodate over 40,000 fams. when they were n discussion with william morris they offered prince slane r croker,,,,as slane is usually held n august it was decided that croke was the perfect choice. its 50 50 right now whats going 2 happen. fingers crosssed yall, WOLFY [Edited 3/11/08 9:15am] Welcome 2 wolfys lair!! Have never posted here before but good Lord i'm tired of the crap coming out of Wolfy.I live in Dublin and have done all my life so to hear Wolfy referring every single time to my city as a "very dangerous place at night" is insulting.Compared to most capital cities Dublin is a paradise and i feel very safe walking the streets whatever time day or night. As 99% of visitors to my great city will tell you we're all very very welcoming. All this nonsense "Ooo it might be cancelled the residents are making a fuss"...Wolfy seriously when do the residents NOT make a fuss? Even for the numerous GAA matches that are held there the residents protest! Concerts are held there year after year and how many concerts get cancelled Wolfy? Or even moved? None..So please quit trying to be Mr Know it All and scaring fans. The gig will go ahead as planned.

hold on a second...im irish just like U ok...i love my country n my capital city. i recently posted n my original main thread about a female friend of ours who was savagely beaten on o connell st just b4 mindnight n recent times after comming out of the ambassador...she was seeing a gig there n was walking 2 the nearby gresham hotel ...her bag was stolen n was sexually mollested...one of the thugs had a dirty needle as he was probably a s@@mbag druggie. only 4 others intervening it could have been much worse...the gardai told her they could not catch the culprits as the CCTV cameras were not working that nite!!! dublin IS a dangerous place at night n anyone that tells folx different r living n cloud cookoo land. the amount of junkies around dublin city at nite is scary..the gardai move them on but they keep comming back...if anything the gardai r scared n case they get pricked by there needles...as i would b. its not just dublin but any major city n ireland...i imagine all major cities n europe have similar probs. as 4 the residents of croke park....they r protesting n objecting n the chances of this gig going ahead now is 50 50 till they get the licence as there is only 3 concerts granted per year 4 croke. last time MCD went 2 get a licence 4 a 4th concert was 4 U2 n even then they were lucky getting it as there was good feeling from the residents as U2 r from dublin. i have heard this directly from my contact n MCD promotions so please stop. thats reasured me. wolfy had me really worried for days, thought it was gonna be cancelled I must say, for all who are worried, I was a tourist in Dublin myself a few months back and I found it to be a nice city. I was out at nite with my young daughter and I felt safe enough. I enjoyed Dublin and didnt find any trouble at all!! Fair enough all cities have their own problems - nowhere on earth is ever 100% safe. Regardless of where you are - you always have 2 keep ur wits about u! Wolfy..Dublin aint the most dangerous city in Europe..hell it aint even the most dangerous city in this country even though it is by far the biggest. Are you from Dublin? Or from the country and like everyone living in the country area terrified of "The Big Smoke"...take a walk around Limerick and then come back and tell me how dangerous Dublin is.Like i said the residents lodge complaints about things going on in Croke Park all the time.Yeah they went crazy about the 4th U2 concert...did it go ahead? Yes it did as did Bon Jovi last year.If you're so in the know you'll know that a few free tickets get thrown their way and all is well again. If you know anything about Ireland you'll know if the GAA can make money out of something they will and they always get their way.Tell me one time when they have not?

WOLFY [Edited 3/11/08 13:30pm] Hi Wolfy Who told you it would be a split gold circle like West Life? When I called Ticket Master they told me that the A and B were to aid numbering the tickets for administration purposes. – Looks like I need this in writing from them! dont mind ticketmaster....what do they know???....lol they just sell tix n dont care once there sold plus there aftercare is rubbish. i have a good friend who works with MCD the concert promoter prince uses 4 ireland n thats how i broke this story b4 anyone else n how i was able 2 provide good info so far. when U get 2 the gig U will all go through the same entrance as on ur ticket n then there will b 2 parts 2 the gold circle....hence A n B...long story really but at the point theatre n dublin a few years back there was a person killed at a concert from folx pushing n the person was squashed 2 death...since then they have 2 take health n safety of the fams with great care n detail. its still going 2 b a place where i personally would not have much comfort with stupid fams pushing there way 2 the front making folx uncomfortable...i suffer from anxiety n panic attacks n situations like that...was at metalica a few years ago n had 2 b pulled out as i really freaked out being pushed from side 2 side n couldnt keep my balance...really horrendous Xperience n i swore never again. thats why im going 2 b up on the hogan stand drinkin some guinness n eatin a hot dog r 3. lol, hope all this helps...n i still think ur 3 sexy amy,,,xx WOLFY [Edited 3/11/08 17:20pm] Welcome 2 wolfys lair!!
