My VIP source tells me anyone who still has there Blenheim tkt can exchange it for a VIP Stage Suite tkt which seats you in the wings on stage.

Unfortunately this will only be for the support act(s). When Prince is on you get re-located to just behind the big pillar in Block ZZ Row ZZ in Section 'I Can't See A Freaking Thing'.

But that's ok cos when you get home you can phone /write to Ticketmaster demanding a full refund and when you finally get one you can post upteen threads about it on here

Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

We could of used them on the next tour (was that Batman? I'm not good at remembering stuff) but I couldn't bring myself to part with them.

How many people surrendered them for new tix and how many just got refunds and kept their tix as souveneers?

I think a lot of the longer established (or old for short) fans built their healthy cynasim about tours from that fiasco.

As a local ( A local gig for local people we'll have no trouble here!) I remember the stage being partly built!

It was the 1992 Diamonds and Pearls tour. I used mine for the Dortmund show and still got my original Blenheim ticket sent back to me. Still got it in my ticket tin with all the rest of my tickets.

Virgo

At least refunds were available for the Blenheim fiasco. I saw 3 shows on the D & P tour in Germany using the Blenheim tickets.
And yes you got to keep the old tickets wink
Does anyone remember the similar fiasco called "Copenhagen Rock Festival" in 1996 ?

Prince was headlining one night, Metallica the other.
The festival went bankrupt and NO refunds were available. Metallica did a free show for ticketholders later that year.
But no such thing for the people who had bought tickets to see Prince.
Mr. P had withdrawn from the whole thing, before the bankruptcy.

It was a huge scandal in Denmark.
Finally the people behind Roskilde Festival let people holding tickets for the "CRF" enter Roskilde Festival for free on the last night, to restore the faith in a certain amount of security when paying for concert tickets in Denmark.
I sold my ticket to someone who wanted to go Roskilde - and got at least some of my money back sad

They were not available for everyone. I never got any refund and I paid for all the D&P shows in Germany I attended apart from one when I was on the guestlist (at least I think that one was the D&P tour hmmm).
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....
