As a Dubliner, I can confirm Dublin will indeed be dead on a Monday night - unless you're into gambling. There's a few all night/24 hour casinos/poker clubs mostly around Merrion Square. Some serve free alcohol, but they all provide free coffee and biscuits etc. Membership is free and easy for anyone over 18. Boards.ie is a a very good and very popular Irish website that will provide any information about any topic. It's basically a hub of hundreds of forums like this. Except mentioning this or any other MCD promoted gig on there strictly is prohibited at the moment due to lawsuits.

A word of warning to you mad party animals...
Be carefull. I'm from Dublin, hanging around the inner city streets for the night is a pretty dangerous prospect, it's not as safe as London, and I did a bit of walking home to hotels in london last summer following the aftershows. I wouldn't ever walk around Dublin at 4am, the police tend to conveniently go traffic duty somewhere safe at that hour.
Just be carefull.

i would usually stay in blooms when in dublin, only twice/three times a year. i find club m handy only because i was staying upstairs. not a place that i would seek out. have seen a few fights outside, that kind of thing..
