I shudder! Thats why I've gone for a good seat. I found the selfish people in open standing concerts just ruined the whole thing. It was like you had to play a game, holding your ground the entire time.

It wasn't the drunks who were the worst, it was short female fams who think its their right to shove past everyone to the front. They were like packs of wolves that had smelt blood.

Enough of that....a 7pm turn up, a pie and pint, a great view of Prince live from a comfy chair and a hasty exit to the aftershow! Thats what I'm doing at Croke....now where are my pipe and slippers! biggrin

Just on the ticketmaster site again and they now have two seating charts for Prince. They both show exactly the same details but there are two of them.

Are they doing more 'maintenance'?

For a minute, I thought we were going to get a repeat of the O2 when the gold seat plans changed!

I know it's a long shot but here goes anyway ...

The other 4 people that I'm flying from Glasgow with managed to get Gold Circle A tickets but I, unfortunately, only managed to get B. I didn't think this was going to be a problem until reading this thread.

Should anyone be kind enough or in the reverse position to me and need a B ticket to join up with friends or fams alike ... I was wondering if we could arrange a swap?

IF not it looks like I'll be getting rid of my ticket - I'm not going over to Dublin to say cheerio to my mates at the gate as we walk in.

Especially since one is a first timer and that's part of the reason I decided to go.

As friendly as Prince crowds are ... it just wouldn't be the same.

If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

Efter. sad

I wouldn't worry just yet. Let the dust settle before we know for sure what the crowd arrangements are.

I know it's a bit presumptious but after finding another confirmation from Croke Park on the Westlife board that Gold A is nearest the stage and Gold B is a second area behind - I'm getting a bit sick of being screwed around when it comes to tickets.

Just a bit gutted that I can't spend the concert with my mates to be honest and really wish I hadn#t booked flights and accomodation in such a rush.

Some of us never learn! biggrin

I got B Tickets and Im feeling totally ripped off now! sad

It was never mentioned on the Ticketmaster site that there would be TWO SECTIONS within the (so-called) "Gold Circle". I found out about that AFTER buying the tickets, because suddenly there was the letter "B" printed on them....

Are they taking the piss or what? Is something like this legal at all - i mean it's very misleading to sell tickets for a single "Gold Circle" , when there are in fact TWO CIRCLES now!

I'm very very pissed and angry! Is something like this legal at all? Is there anything I can do about this? I dont want the B tickets, If they would have mentioned that before, I would have never bought them.....

Oh the joys of being a Prince Fan

Of course B may be close to the sound desk. And that means that Controversy will sound completely amazing! Oh you poor A'ers with your iPod quality sound. Also it's better to be called a complete B than a complete A.

Seriously, it's all speculation at the moment. Save getting pissed for when you know for sure!!! It may - and hopefully for you and all the other B ticket holders - be something totally different, and better! Hopefully.....

I think selling your GCB tix will earn you more money than going through a lawsuit.

Ok let me wade into the controversy.

I got GoldB....but that's not my problem...yet!. Please forgive me if I'm being really stupid about this.....I was under the impression that gold is all standing, but when I checked my account on ticketmaster it said this:

Section - Gold B
Row - G3
Type - A-stan
Seats 719-720

Is this just an administration thing to assign seat numbers even if it's standing, or are there gonna be seats in the gold circle? Which to be honest would be great and would cut out the inevitable assholes pushing to the front.

Plus if B is behind A, I'm NOT gonna be a happy camper.....reliving the nightmares of the so called VIP experience at the O2 lol.

I have seated tickets Row L in 306 for me and Catpark too.....just have to decide whether I wanna stand or sit....I think I'm getting way too old for this shit!!!

Sorry, but its not SO funny for me you know. I have already been ripped off last year with the O2 tickets! It did cost me A LOT of money!!! I wont let them do this again, only a fool would do so!!!!!
And if someone buys tickets that are priced over 100 Euro each (for standing btw!)I think they should tell you what you get in ADVANCE and NOT AFTERWARDS!

That said - of course I will enjoy the show. lol It's just about the way they do business! Fine, if you are so rich, I am NOT!!
