It's 10.03, and I just got Blk 304 row AA. Are the good seats only just appearing?

Very strange.

I resisted the rush at 8.00am. I decided to wait for ebay or a friend with spares to come to my aid nearer the time.

The logic was that I wanted to be in the seats so I could make a quick exit to the aftershow, but I wanted to be lower tier and be in 303, 304 or the same blocks on the opposite side for the best view.

I was also aware that the VIP seating didn't seem to be on sale yet.

Curiosity got the better of me, So I went to ticketmaster at 10.03 and tried my luck.

I was suprised when it came back with row BB in 702. Upper tier, but probably the best upper tier seats with the exception row AA.

Tempted to take them, I resisted and chose to select other tickets. This time it offered my 303 row DD. The buy button was nearly pressed, but again I pressed to reselect. Now it gave me row AA 304, right by the aisle between block 303 and 304. At that point, realising I would have the perfect view with no one in front of me I could no longer resist! Buy button pressed!

Of course I could be wrong in assuming row AA is further forward that row A (Like it was in the O2), can anyone clarify?

Question is, have the better seats been held back again? Did anyone get the front five rows at 8am?

I think it's A-Z then AA-ZZ, so halfway up. I personally think that's better.

So A would be closer to the front and aa would be 26 rows further back?

Ah, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but row AA is the 27th row, after rows A-Z.

And yes, of course the better seats have been held back, the entire middle tier (marked as premier seating on the seating chart) hasn't been put on sale yet.

I had some row A tickets for the cusack stand, but it was section 710, thought I could get better and now I've ended up with row B in the same section. Oh well, they'll do fine.

Update!

I just got it confirmed that Row F is the front row of the lower tier seating! The first 5 rows are not sold when pitch standing is in operation.

So it goes F to Z, then AA up!

Oh well, I'm still fairly pleased with my view!

You wouldn't want to be too low down cos you wouldn't see most of the stage and you'd be head on with the tops of people's heads.

Nice story. I on the other hand have been offered every seat in block 308/309 and 328/329 and am just looking for a spot in any block 303-305 or 332-334.

Exactly. I think you've done fairly well SquirrelMeat, 304 is a good section to be in. I'll be a dot on the horizon way behind you in section 710. smile

Two. I guess thats why I am struggling a bit. Still I remain confident that more good ones will become available at face value.

Whilst doing a search for availability, one seat (no. 17) came up repeatedly in row CC, block 334.

Yep, that seat, plus one in row "i" up in the top tier have been coming up since 9.30am.

In fact, if you try for blocks of 4 and 6 and 8 tickets, the same seats keep getting offered. It's as if demand has stopped, and it doesn't even sound a third full.

Its early days, but still, demand seems to have dropped off mighty quick. Maybe everyone was waiting till lunchtime?!

Well I was going to get one for my brother (Mentalist) but I don't know what his plans are. He may have arranged without my knowledge to get together with somebody off of here and then I'd have been stuck with one ticket. I don't think it'll be a problem getting decent tickets nearer the time, I really don't.

I'm waiting for:

1. the NPGMC announcement for early entrance gold cirle seats!

2. VIP seats, around the stage!

3. An annoucement that the reason gold circle is split into A & B is that there will be a performance pier that stretches half way back down the pitch!

Hey Squirrel! How very spooky is that! My brother just emailed me saying he's bought a ticket in block 334. I asked him if it was row CC seat 17 and he said it was! So we were both looking at the same ticket! He ended up buying it though so saved myself a few euros there didn't I!!!!!

I'm 305 row J... the annoying thing is that I skipped a row F seat when I was trying to decide if I'd go for the expensive tickets or the cheap ones. Bah!

Ha Ha! How funny is that! I so nearly bought it for you but wasn't sure whether you'd arranged anything with anybody else to go and then I'd be stuck with one ticket. Glad you got it anyway. It's a good one. You'll be able to wave at Squirrel on the other side!
