I don't think it's too far, someone on another thread said 10 mins in good traffic! 10 minutes at 3am maybe. More like 30-45 minutes during the day. If anyone's running late, the airport bus into town will leave you within walking distance of Croker. The main road in from the airport is called Lower Drumcondra Road - get off at the junction of it and Clonliffe Road - there'll be a police barrier and ticket check. 5-10 minute walk from there.

Anyone wanna meet up at some point over the weekend? Not sure what you're all planning on doing but myself and Annie (hence the username) like to frequent pubs quite often during weekend breaks. We've also been told the Guinness tour is really good and also the boat trip thingy about the harbour. Definately the pubs in the evenings though

We'll be in 306 row R - can't wait! We've got same flights as you, but are in gold circle B Where are you staying? We couldn't get those tickets We're staying at the Jury's Inn Christchurch. I was there a few weeks ago and it's really close to Temple Bar and Trinity College etc. Dublins actually pretty small I think. I called the reception there and she said it was about 5-10 minutes by public transport, but you couuld walk it in 20-25 minutes or something. There's a Jury's Inn actually by Croke Park, but that's like £300 or somethign a night and Christchurch is gonna cost about £30 a night as there are 3 of us sharing a room..I'll make sure we all wear Prince t-shirts on the flight so you can spot us. I'm sure it won't be difficult! The Hottest chip of them all - www.hotchip.co.uk - Get down with Prince

I'm going uber cheap on this trip as I'm now going on my own.
I'm staying at the DLU campus. 33 euros for a single room with an ensuite and use of a pool and gym! Plus its walking distance to the venue and on the bus route to the city or airport. .

The whole thing, getting to Stansted, flight, single room and return is going to cost me £39!!!!! .
