No official prince correspondence on the croke park gig...
I wonder if 3121 will comeback online or is there something new to look forward to...

Most likely but I think Prince will do more than 1-3 gigs in europe this summer, that story is hype to sell the tickets for dublin and other 2 before announcing more shows. i would like to think he would have his own website back up with presale for members but i guess it will not happen.

it seems strange that someone who pioneered ticket sales through website back as far as 2000/2002 has chosen to stop doing it. i don't know any other business or artist who is embracing the net less now than before. anyway we shall c and fingers crossed.

From a cost/benefit standpoint, it makes sense generally to deal with the fanatics and all their entitlement drama by having Ticketmaster offer them premium tickets at premium prices and via auctions. The ticket selling landscape has changes radically. Ticketmaster didn't have such processes in place 6-8 years ago, like it does now. There's less need today for artists' management and/or fan clubs to burden themselves with such chores nowadays to placate me and other high-maitenance fanatics with an outrageous sense of entitlement.

fair point. if only they would confirm this and when you did purchase you knew what seats you were getting.

How can we be soo close to the "sale" of tickets and there bo no official confirmation?

Croke Park apparently had it on their page, but I can not now find it.
Ticketmaster You can only get to the story by a direct link and not by any of their searches! Looks like a page on the server that's not valid.

From Thinking "How am I gonna sort this?" I've changed to "Is this another let down, like Paris in March?"
