Do you think it would be a suitable venue to take my kids to see Prince - I should have taken them to london but didn't as I thought they were too young - they will be 9 and 10 in June this year?

i saw u2 in croke park a few years ago. we were in lower tier seats over looking stage. as far as i can remember it was fairly steep. facilities are good though. there might be pitch seating as well.

ALthough expect some sort of VIP gold circle at least 25 feet from the stage...

so it may be worth hanging on buying tix f those are going to be released...

I doubt it. Tickets for the pitch area are usually cheaper than the stands, but they're also usually the first to sell out. So those who get closest to the stage are those who can run fastest when they open the gates.

I would imagine that the VIP tickets will be for the corporate boxes, that's the normal set up for croker.

It's a very smoothly run operation there these days and the facilities are pretty good - no queueing for hours for the toilets.

Oh that's great AsylumUtopia, thanks for the info! I'll feel better about going ahead now, I guess I'll try and go for the lower tiers, good news about the toilets too - these things are important! Especially with a 5 year old in tow I think he's going to love it, and it just might be one of the last chances we get to see a complete 'Greatest Hits' concert ever, so my boy can say he's seen the best!

I'm sure he'll still do his hits but probably not in one package like this.
