ACT II / Freebie ! .. old stuff So I was clearing out some stuff at my folks this weekend and found a load of old Prince stuff - fave one being the 'sampler experience' they gave out at the end of Act II at Wembley !
Is a white casette in a Black sleeve with NPG symbol down the middle. 'look for upcoming releases of Exodus, 24 and Kamasutra on NPG records in 1995' I even found a sealed one ! .. also found my original copy of the Black album on casette ! .. and some of the gold speckles from the end of The Endorphine Machine / Gold Tour. Happy days !  He was right - a new name does feel mighty fine....now for some fun - MWA HA HA HA | |

The sampler experience (one on sale on ebay the other day!) I remember giving a few away as went to quite a few shows on the gold experience tour i believe! I kept a lot of the gold strips that were released onto the crowd at the end of those shows (some were plain and others were like patterned!) Mayte threw into the crowd a few 12 inch records of the purple medley at those gigs and sprayed people with the "Get wild" perfume and i was lucky to catch a baseball cap which i still have and is one of my most prized possessions  Super memories and i still have the black album on cassette somewhere  [Edited 2/17/08 13:37pm] Where have all the raspberry women gone? | |

[Edited 2/17/08 13:37pm] those were the days...i remember them well at the point n dublin march 1995 n going 2 the pod aftershows.....met most of the NPG. had a pint of guinness with michael B n sonny T b4 the aftershow started....then bono jammed with prince n the band....ohhhh the memories....shagged mrs wolfy n the loo at the point on both nights he was there....we got caught the second night but security were cool....lol..... by the way...i have the sampler tapes n i have the black album on CD...i spent years waiting 2 get that album. I was in dublin about june 1994 and picked up a few prince rare track tapes from a great independent record shop in temple bar. The gold experience was something that will never be repeated due to prince's rebellious mood and the exclusivity of listening to the songs live before release. Well at the time it was not sure if it would be released and how cool would that have been  The tour itself i saw the first 3 gig's at wembley arena with 2 lovely welsh prince girl fan's in tow all weekend. I stayed in earl's court at a french hotel I then went to manchester, sheffield and back to 2 dates at wembley arena I believe the tour ended with those 2 point depot gigs! Where have all the raspberry women gone? | |

Never had the opportunity to mix with any band members but at some stage perhaps! I was just glad to be at the gigs Much as i loved the o2 you can't beat a proper tour for the different places / travelling around,etc! Maybe soon although i will need to save a bit first  Where have all the raspberry women gone? | |
