NPGMusicClub 'GoldMember'

Rotterdam 15 October, absolutly fantastic concert!
Man this was music! Prince, where do you get those funky band members??
I had to cry a couple of times during the concert…. And I'm not the crying type! wink

One drawback though…. You are telling us about being one, but then you split up the audience in two parts.
1) Members
2) Non-Members

How many of the non-members are following your carreer for year, attent every concert, buy all your albums…. I think more than you realise… a 100 dollar per year is not something everybody can spend like it's nothing… especially when you're coming to holland once in 4 years or so...

Did you check halve the audience which were member? Or should I say Goldmember?
All dressed up in suits and fur coats… parking their Porsche walking with their nose up in the air past us 'peasants'…
Too bad they don't know the lyrics of 'Money don't matter tonight'

It wouldn't be so bad if it was in the summer, but it was cold, rainy and windy….. Waiting for four hours… brrr.

I hope this NPG Music Club business will be focussed more on your real support, not the ones with the big wallets.

Probably many of the real 'fams' you are member, would feel attacked now, but they should realise what I mean by this post.

The concert was absolutely the best I have every seen, thank you for Sign 'O' the Times… my all time favorite.

Hey Thierry,

I understand that u r a little bit pissed off by not having attend to the front rows etc., but it's not only the people with big wallets. I am a member and I can tell u the 100$ are worth the club. See, u'll receive a couple of CD's over the year, that u would buy either, member or not. So what's the point ? If you're really a die hard fan, willing to spend your money for almost every CD, why not become a member ? U'll spend the same money as usual plus u get a little extra !

Cheers,

Must've been a different show you went to.

I've read (and said) this before, why would anyone who is not a big fan buy membership to the club. Just to be in front at a concert of someone he/she is not a big fan off? Come on now, think again.

I agree with you that there are big fans who can spare the $100 and that there are who cannot. But that is life. Without internet connection last year's club would've been virually useless as well. There's always gonna be things that not everybody is able to benefit from. Such is life.
