Haven´t slept for days, was also in Rotterdam the day
before, then went straight to work and then to Hamburg,
so this one will be very short, got to get some sleep
and save some energy for Saturday.
Jeanriek has already posted a very accurate setlist, so
for now I will just give you some after-concert thoughts
before I drop to bed...this one was easily one of the best,
if not the best Prince concert I have seen. Incredible...
my favourites were...everything.
Rotterdam was also great, but it was way more stressful than
Hamburg. Security and staff were excellent in HH.
Prince seemed to be in a great mood, a lot of people were
positively surprised by this concert, to say the least, and
it was absolutely flawless. Just pure genius at work.
Reminded me a bit of that night at Xenophobia/Celebration
when he did Whole Lotta Love and a lot of other more rock
oriented stuff, but this night he sort of did everything he
is capable of doing in one show...a show with a perfect flow
and interaction with the crowd, just the right amount of
crowd participation, and a very enthusiastic Prince.
I´m too whacked out, to be continued later...it´s 6.15 AM, been on my feet for three days and nights.

I've been 2 Hamburg 2...I won't find the right words 2 describe what I felt there...It has been just magical 4 me- a dream came true...Before I was so excited that I couldn't drive the car there, so I had 2 take my husband with me..a Non-Prince-Fan. I felt like just beeing in a big familiy with lots of love around me...and even my husband really enjoyed it! I nearly cried when HE came on stage...I got such a lotsof respect and feel so much love 3 prince-and he did it right! He was with the ppl..hasn't been shy 2 talk 2 them and touch them. I wish I would have been one of them he took on stage and let them dance..

I'm just a little bit sad that I couldn't join the aftershowparty...

well anyway..this has been a beautiful night in such a fantastic atmosphere...

1 thing that strikes me after having slept 1 night. Did you notice the complete lack of young people in Hamburg. Average age was 35, I saw noone under 25. Was it the same in other cities ? It seemed as if Prince lost complete connection with the new generation.

Nevertheless the show was great. Religious speech reduced to a minimum, great band, Prince in good mood, unbelieveable set. Love what he did with some songs of his back-catalogue (Gotta Broken Heart Again) and enjoyed many songs from TRC. This was simpley incredible.

Me and my six friends are all under 20 (well, two of us are 20). And I saw some very young people, probably brought by their parents.

U should have been 2 the aftershow. Veery nice.
I was sitting on a sofa, when he just came in and nearly hit my feet. That close!

After the show, his DJ came 2 us at the bar, drank some beer with us and talked with us.

Hey McGee, I guess you're right. Tickets were very expensive and there were only a few people in Hamburg "just looking around". Who was able + willing to spend 100 EUR knew what to expect.
