Manchester 8th- Sign O'The Times

Okay, I posted a thread about him swearing, BUT I just remembered sumthing else about the concert on the 8th.At the end of Sign O'The Times, the part where he goes,"Lets fall in love, get married ,have a baby,we'll call..."
I felt really sad 4 him, cuz he said,"we'll call it Greg"
It just came 2 me while I was listening to it just now.

Did Greg take a solo after this?

Greg happens to be the name of the trombonist...

His baby wasn't called Gregory. Mayte booked into the hospital under the false surname 'Gregory', to divert attention, obviously.

Since the parents didn't inform the hospital of the first name they had chosen, they just used the surname of the mother. Similarly, if Mrs Smith had delivered a boy and hadn't yet named it, the records would show Boy Smith until it was named.

I had this discussion with my friend after the concert on the 8th! I was positive he said "We'll call him GREAT" and I was in the 6th row! My friend was in row Y and he swears it was Greg!!!

Pretty positive it was great though as he said it with a smile!!!

I heard Great

... I also heard him forget the lyrics, but he covered it up really well, saying "I hear ya"

It was definitely 'Greg', just like it used to be 'Michael B' when Mr Bland was the drummer with the NPG.
