On the drums, Mr. Johnny B-Well....not bad, for a boy...

With all the (well deserved) praise been given to Maceo and Candy, hows about some respect for Mr. Blackwell.

I thought Michael B. was good but this guy is the business...his playing last Thursday was perfect, his solo -outstanding, and the bit where he stopped in the middle to check his hair in the mirror..ha ha - classic Time stuff.

I think he is the best drummer Prince has worked with...
I can't sing, but I got soul

totally agree with u, even if everybody (sheila, micheal b. and even kirky) had his one style, but between kirky and blackwell there is a universe! so thats what i remarked first when JB was new into the NPG, a very important and most wanted stepp has come true! JB is truly a genious as his own! his drumming is so precise and perfect, and suits very good 2 princes live sound! even 2 the studio work!

yeah! i am glad that a such an important job is now again in the hand of a real profi! big propos 2 him! he's the man! and yepp, his show (mirror mirror game, undressing, drinking, etc.) is quite not 2 believe! 2 cool, morris wink
