Where are my manners? Thank you, people! London 2002

I was meant to do this a week ago. Thank you to everyone who helped make my three nights in London the best Prince gigs I've ever been to. Shout outs to the following (if I've forgetten your name, I'm sorry, there were so many names to take in! confuse)

From Thursday:

George, Tim, Susan and Christine (I think), who all piled into my car for the journey from the Mayfair club to the Click. Hope you don't all hate me after Saturday's 'discussion'. No harm was meant by it. Hope you enjoyed Manchester.

Sammy, who chatted to me in the Mayfair queue, and gave a friendly hi each time I saw her after that.

From Friday:

Andy, my guest for the gig. Haven't heard from you, have you recovered yet?

To Gavin 'I don't have anything to do with the list' Smith. Very friendly, and very tall!!

To the group from the queue. Funny how we all ended up together at the gig...fate? I've lost my email list so if you recognise yourself, contact me! There was a couple, lady with curly hair and her husband who did as he was told and got her John Blackwell's autograph! They kept saying I was famous after doing the interview for Prince's cameraman.
The two Asian guys who I saw again as we rushed through Hammersmith station to get to the Marquee 'are you two sisters?' and also the guy with a beard who I think came alone and was before me in the queue.

To Ritchie and Jenny, who I gave a lift to Piccadilly on the way to The Embassy. Definitely keeping in contact with you, Ritchie!

To the two Asian guys that I gave a lift to Baker St. station. I hope you made your flight to Glasgow. The cards were stacked against you that night!

From Saturday:
To JP and Hans. Despite all the bitching on here, I have nothing but respect for you.worship

To Russell and his wife. No.3 and 4! Man, was I glad to see you after sitting on my lonesome since 7:30. Thanks again for the tea!

To the American girl from Chicago Nation. I loved your stories, and I loved the way you danced on stage on the Thursday night, I hope your knee is better now.

To Toto and the Italian crew. My friend has now recovered from the bruising suffered from Toto the rubberbone man dancing next to her all evening! She forgave you once Prince invited us all up on stage because of your moves!lol

And finally to Marlene, my dear friend who has seen Prince with me every single time he's visited London since '86. Saturday was the best show of my life, and there was no one I would have wanted to share that with more than you.hug

If anyone thinks, 'hey, she forgot me!' drop me a note and complain! lol

I think that it's nice and long overdue that Prince is finally acknowledging his longtime loyal followers and giving them little rewards like letting them dance onstage.

I have seen that Italian crew in at least 3 different cities where I've seen Prince. I have seen them waiting outside of clubs to get into afterparties and standing in line at Paisley. The Italian group are very dedicated and loyal fans. It's just nice to see that kind of dedication receive a reward once in a while. smile
