The shows and setlists always get better as a tour goes on. The people who saw this ONA show early in the U.S. got a setlist that didn't have as many treats and goodies as the Europeans are getting. The irony is that the U.S. paid more but got less.

Yes, the people I have spoke to have really noticed the diffeences in between N.America ONA & Europe. I had to miss the Cele, so I am off to Europe for 3. I heard from a dutch friend that London after show was magnificent!

John Blackwell was extraterrestrial. So was Prince.

Halfway through the show Prince asks: "Any suggestions?" - and he plays SOTT.

Second song that evening, directly after the interlude (what a raw, fierce interlude!) from TRC, which normally leads (in)to "Muse 2 The Pharao": "Pop Life"! No "Muse" though...

But then the fifth song or so, he's like "I'm now going to play a song a said I wouldn't play tonight. [...] You're almost making me cry..." and there goes "Purple Rain".

Not to forget the two encores including the piano medley ("Sometimes It Snows in April" AND "Condition Of The Heart"), a full band version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" and "Are there any wild/funky people here tonight?! I Can't here U! Show me the wild sign!! aka "Days Of Wild"...

Great music, even greater drummer, genius at work.

has anyone actually spotted Eric Leeds yet? Doesn't he need the practice to fill maceo's shoes for the continuation off the tour?

how was the members section? Was there room enough, not to crowded? Dit you have the oppertunity to leave te section after the soundcheck and come back for the concert?

the show had 2 encores, was superfunky with califragi bits and sexy candy...
but a show, it isn't a show until it's past.

silver shoe aka fabhouse is back in tha house.. first flashing down the frankfurt xperience, b4 reviewing and starting coming friday 4 berlin gig... still i hope 4 a afertershow, speaking of a live gig... rotterdam will b lucky.. i am pretty shure, what about berlin and zurich? we will c? maybe paris? well... the concert (soundcheck) was off the hook! 4 me it was a night 2 remeber as i was on stage 4 the dance contest when prince adressed on me and said, ahh ah look @this silver shoes and stopped playing the guitar (and meant me) - i was kinda overflashed! and he said then: u with the silver shoes, u dance NOW! which i did... even "found" (thank u prince&band) a nice white transparent on the stage, shaked on and on with this around my hip and fonky belly ... yo, as said, still dreaming, space ship not yet landed! prince & npg, guests! u made me very happy! it was off the hook!

so i wish u a joyful nite in rotterdam and the best luck 4 u all 4 an aftershow! it might happen i guess cos dutch peeps are the fonkiest (i have 2 admit that as a swiss fonkstone) on the whole world... and p knows.. that's why, and also with candys home game, there might happen a beautiful night.. i am looking 4ward 2 the reviews!
