Will Prince bring out a dvd of THE EARTH TOUR?? Just wondered if anyone thinks, or knows something! bearing in mind how big the concerts were, if Prince will bring out a dvd of 'The Earth Tour' "better to be someone for a day, than no one for a lifetime" | |

He did the massive Musicology tour of the US in 04 and never released anything from that.Nothing from 3121 vegas.
Also, the only cameras I saw on all the nights I went were just the cameras for the screens and I am not sure how good the quality would be. I never really saw him wearing exactly the same outfit so that would make it hard if editing a show together from different nights. I personally don't think a DVD will come out, but I would love to be proved wrong! | |

Why do you think he wouldn't???? because i've been hearing for the past three years that there would DEFINITELY be a musicology tour DVD, and nothing's come from that. how we ever got the vegas one nite alone concert DVD is nothing short of a miracle to me. a poorly-edited miracle with dodgy sound quality, but still...a miracle! | |

Ah well, I for one will be going with the power of positive thinking. I shall also be praying to the Gods of music DVD releases. I'll probably even adapt some moves from the rain dance to 21 nights in London DVD & CD dance.

If he did it properly ie widescreen with surround sound etc this would sell millions.
He should do it. Imagine this coming out for the Christmas market! I mean how many tickets did he sell at the O2?  if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

i already posted this on a different thread but just 2 let U guys n gals know that the symbol stage that was used at 02 is now at paisley park studios....i dont know what the plan is but one of the prince crew told me that it was being shipped direct in 2 trucks 2 paisley park....i asked if it was gonna b used 2 do filimg 4 a DVD but the guy couldnt say as he said most likey it would b put in2 storage.
4 all i know he could have been tellin fibs...but he seemed quite genuine. WOLFY  Welcome 2 wolfys lair!! Make love not war!!!
