Manchester 8th not as good as 7th

This was how I felt it.
The 7th for me was a far better show, the set ran a lot smoother and he didn't leave out xenophobia, case of u and the piano medley.
I thought the 8th got a little lost near the end encores with Dorothy Parker and All the Critics, compared to the previous nights conclusion of the Piano Medley Empty Room and Purple Rain
All the front row stalkers dancing on stage during All the Critics went nowhere, although I coudn't take my eyes of 'Ozzy in the shellsuit' bouncing from one foot to another. lol
I thought Pop Life was a bit lame compared to the piano medley of D&P, Sometimes... and HCUDCMA.
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the 8th and managed to get better seats (row B) but the 7th had that little bit more magic for me.
One last thing; what was the extra section in Strollin?
Was it another song or just extended version?
Hope everyone had a great time at the shows. lol

Totally agree, mind u sat on the 2nd row on Monday so that may have had something to do with it.

On a whole I did feel Monday was the better show.

It was the best I have seen from rince in a long time.

Respect to the man.

It is called "U and Me", at least that is what it said on Rhonda's setlist and Prince's lyric book.

Yup, I'm in agreement here.8th lost its way when he invited everyone on stage,I knida felt bit left out when that was going on.Don't get me wrong-it was still cool!(Apart from the slag with the long hair twirling and grinding in his face)-jealous!-NAH!!
Then the ending seemed rather abrupt too.Altho, if I hadn't been at the 7th it still would have been a TOP concert!!
