Isn't this Larry Graham bashing a bit old hat now, why be so negative about him all the time?

isn't Larrys influence partly responsible for Princes new openess and approachability with us. Would you rather have Larry influencing Prince tobe a JW or Rick James influencing Prince tobe a coke snorting, raping fucked up washed out has been?.

Agree with you Jared
During these past few shows I've never seen Prince so happy.

Hmmm. . .yeah. . .he acts happy. Bouncy happy music and whatnot. But he strikes me more as a man trying desperately to be happy than a man who actually IS.
Just my armchair don't-know-the-man psychoanalysis. Doves, M

Just my armchair don't-know-the-man psychoanalysis. Doves, M Tackam, I agree with you. I think he's struggling to be where people feel he should be? Not necessarily where he wants to be. He wants approval.

He was at the Kingdom Hall Sunday in Chanhassen...happy
as can be...with his friend Prince only a telephone call away... Just can't stand to see him happy... You'd rather see him sad... Whenever have you seen the man more relaxed and friendly? More at peace? More willing to spend time up close and personal with you? So...how's everybody doing?

What better way to get the world's approval than doing all the things Prince has ever done? ROFL!!! First...be the baddest bad boy in the music world Then piss off one of the biggest record companies in the world. Then, change your name to a symbol Then, change it back Then, form a music club for a business Then, join JWs Then, release TRC and call Abraham Lincoln a racist. and you think he's looking for approval??? So...how's everybody doing?

yeah right. all us fans of prince are WRONG about our opinions and reactions to seeing larry and tina onstage.
not only are we mistaken, but in fact it's a GOOD thing larry is around to teach prince to mistake a RIFF for a SONG and jam on it endlessly. someday, maybe prince will also learn how to play the same two jams over and over and over and over and over . . . .

Agreed. I'm glad someone's seen sense. Larry could have helped Prince open up, and i wish Larry the best, but is there a possibility that Prince decided to open up with us on his own being it his decision and his credit? i dont understand why people think that since Prince has "opened up" it meant that before he was some rude recluse, which is not the case....with the ONA tour he is in a more intimate setting which might make him more comfortable to chat with us, goof around and be more open...he has opened PP up for parties before Larry came into the picture as well....his comfort zone has expanded...i dont think Larry taught him how to be "nice".... Why are so many people happy to slag off other people all the time? What has Larry done wrong...in a word nothing! If he influences Prince I can only see that it has a positive impact. I saw prince in London on the 3rd and the 4th and I was pleased to see how happy and contended he was. Why don't people accept the way that people choose to live their lives and just be happy for them? ***
