My Symbol Necklace......

At one of the 02 shows I bought one of the symbol necklaces. I know, i know, it's not exactly prime stuff, but I wanted a souvenier of "that" summer. What has made me laugh is the reaction I've had from people when I'm wearing it, At the docs this week she asked me as I was leaving "is your necklace a religious symbol, what religion is it?" (bless), and my dentist yesterday said "I like your necklace, but what does it mean"? Finally, a little girlie (about 16) on the supermarket checkout tonight said "your necklace is cool, it's one of those man/woman things isn't it"?.

I have to smile, I did put them all right, but I didn't have several hours to tell them all what it's REALLY about..... I love my necklace.

Hurrah for you!
I got one as a birthday present on the last night & now wear it every day, even at work under my uniform. Would wear it in bed but would probably roll over and stab myself on it in the night (so content myself with sleeping on my P pillowcase instead) biggrin
(Did get round to finally cutting off my VIP wrist-band last week though, it had been on there for about 2 months so it was a bit of a wrench!)

if U want a really good necklace then take your necklace 2 a jewellery shop n get them 2 make u a proper one from real silver....i saw the one prince wears n it must b worth £100,000....its got diamonds encrusted....really nice piece of jewellery.....but prince always had great style...

I bought one at a store called Contempo Casuals back in the day. The original version of it without all of the curves. I was shocked at of my mind when I saw a bunch of them just dangling there waiting to be bought. My Mother found it while cleaning my room (I was in my teens still living at home) and snooping around. She then commenced to throwing it away claiming she did so by accident. I should have went back and bought another one but did not bother. I STILL want the earrings of the new version though but continue to forget to look for them somewhere online.

They had em' on NPGMusic Club though. Of course since I kept forgetting to purchase them and on the very day I make it a point to buy them, the site shuts down. All I got was a black screen dag nabbit!
mad lol

I'm going to look for some online right now!

Yep have to agree, had a lovely pair of ear rings made back in the 90s. Took the cd cover and the jeweller made them from there. Definately worth it and they won't tarnish or fade as they're gold.

I bought mine from the ONA gig official merchandise....it was so low quality that I used it to clean under my toe nails with (sorry)

Eventually sold it to a girl in Stoke on ebay for £40 (she wouldnt stop bidding....and I hated my time in stoke)

The only souvenire I bought was the Org Final night comemorative T shirt and that was excellent, especially at £15!

I always bought the tour shirt as a youth and assorted memorabilia, but this time I didn't even buy a program. Now someone did advise this show was for my memories and not to even take photographs, Oh yes that was prince wasn't it! So why would I buy other peoples photographs?

which was obviously the whole Summer from 1st Aug thru to 21st Sept!

Must admit, every time I went to O2 (by boat -wicked) it was sunny and hot (10 times).
Yet I'm still moaning about the worse Summer ever coz i'm quite sure it rained EVERY day ALL Summer! confuse

I wear a symbol necklace, my best friend had it made for me. I thought this thread was pretty funny because I always have people ask me questions about it. The ones that really count are the ones who say I love ur necklace! They actually know the real deal! I get tired of explaining to people and their reactions, but I will always love the ones who really know!! I hope u have the same pleasure as me soon. Peace and Love to u
Love is whatever u want it 2 b
