Prince without Maceo and Greg Boyer...what kind of show would it be????

When Maceo and Greg leave the ONA tour, what kind of show can we expect?

A show I sure as fuck wouldn't want to see!

Unless Eric Leeds does it!

Dunno. Greg Boyer was definitely a great addition. Is this the first he's ever had a trombone player?

You're right. Maceo brings a unique flava to Prince's band. Najee was the horn player on the Hit 'N Run tour and notice how nobody really ever mentions Najee's playing because he's so bland and unfunky.

Everybody always mentions Eric Leeds or Maceo. They have been Prince's best and most funky horns.

Candy Dulfer gets points for being a cute girl, but she could never carry the horn section the way that Maceo and Eric have done before.

Marmelstein

on http://www.maceoparker.com you can check Maceo's European tour. He's not joining the complete NA-tour. He's leaving the tour after Hamburg. So he won't be in Rotterdam on Nov. 2nd.

A show without Maceo is like birthdaycake without candles. Sure it's part of a great party but it won't sparkle...

Erik.

No...Mike Nelson (leader of the Hornheadz) has done a few tours with P. (D&P, Act I, Act II, the Rave promo mini tour...any others?)

I remember seeing Greg play with P-Funk All Stars a bunch of times and I have a few recordings and boot videos of Greg with P-Funk...a TERRIFIC player!!!

Greg will be playing ALL gigs of the ONA tour... including Japan. Mace will go do his own tour without Greg. So dont worry, uts gonna be alright.
